notice, five Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays this month OH! It is! I guess the last weekend will be the long Labor Day holiday, just before school starts again. It's a really major holiday here because it coincides with River Fest. Very similar to July 4th with a massive fireworks display. Well, we have a whole month to go for that and, of course, summer will be here afterward for awhile. Have a good weekend!

the past couple of months have been nothing but drama, and more drama. now, we have to move too. it has been nothing but a pain trying to find a place, but, we finally did. unfortunately, chinook can go, but, leroy can't. i have been sending emails to every rescue in middle tennessee. the only three responses i got couldn't take him. he can't help that he is half pit.
the place we found is great. the town has a population of 748, which is a nice step from the 1600 where we are now, and a definite improvement over the 13,000 where we were before. we will be a mile and a half from the highway, the last half mile being a single lane dirt road. if you meet someone on it, somebody has to pull off the road to let the other get by.
the greatest thing is that hazel's niece, and a worthless piece of shyt that we know, will not know where we are.
i would have preferred a one room cabin, even further away. we would have been able to save a good bit of money, and THEN got a good place, but, hazel was balking because there is a community kitchen and bathroom. it was only $275 a month though, with electric paid, and free satellite tv.

In some parts of KY, it makes a difference in when the kids have to go back. In Northern KY, they are prepared to get snow and ice off the roads quickly, so schools stay pretty much on schedule. Nice to see you, Jim.

I would have said NO to community kitchen and bathroom; just can't do that type of living
