Well those symptoms could be caused by taking too much medication, or taking meds he was allergic to. The kind of pain pills he was supposedly taking are very hard on the stomach even in smaller doses. It might have been stomach ulcers or some kind of fast acting, undiagnosed cancer. He might have been poisoned, but I'd put that ass highly unlikely. Hi Annaj26, Just saw in the news on TV that apparently Prince was diagnosed with Aids 6 months before he died and he refused treatment because he expected God to heal him.

It was probably a combination of more than one thing. I'll hold off an opinion til the official word comes in.

I do not care so much what killed him as I do that he died so young. I feel certain he had a lot more he wanted to do in his lifetime. One thing that is puzzling: If he KNEW he was dying, why wouldn't he have made a will? That, as they say, does not compute.

I haven't seen that anywhere beyond The National Enquirer and The Daily Mail. It wouldn't surprise me. Whatever, it seemed to be a rapidly debilitating condition.
The half time show is available again tonight, it appeasrs. You Tube must have won the lottery. Just click "Watch it on You Tube", and enjoy.

Hi Jessiealan, As far as I am concerned, taking drugs on a regular basis is never good for the body at the best of times. If his body was ravaged by aids, to not seek help is pretty silly behaviour as well. He obviously didn't expect to die as he was expecting God to heal him.

Just wait for the autopsy results.

It's no big deal. Remember this is in music though. Hi Dex, If he hasn't made out a will and there are no claims made on his estate, can the Government claim it all? No doubt if there are claimants then the lawyers will score and a huge chunk of his estate will be eaten up anyway. People will be coming out of the woodwork all over the place. With all that money it is no surprise, you would have thought he would have attended to that ages ago. No will and a lot of brothers and sisters. The law says they share equally. They might appeal but they will be the recipients. No "huge chunk eaten up". Not a gossip issue.

I don't know anything about that. No TV about that here.

If we didn't know this was coming we should have. Prince estate gets first paternity claim A man has filed a paternity claim against Prince's estate, just days after a court ordered DNA testing of Prince's blood in anticipation of potential paternity claims. Carlin Q. Williams of Kansas City, Missouri, claims he is the biological son of the pop icon, CBS News correspondent Jamie Yuccas reports. Williams is requesting a DNA test and petitioning to be determined as Prince's "sole surviving legal heir." The singer had no known will. Court documents filed Monday in Minnesota courts show that Williams' mother, Marsha Henson, gave a statement saying that she had unprotected sex with Prince in July 1976 in Kansas City and conceived Williams that day. On Friday, an order authorizing genetic testing was filed in Carver County, Minnesota to allow DNA testing on a sample of Prince's blood. The results of that test could then be used to settle any potential claims of paternity against the "Purple Rain" singer, who died April 21 at his Paisley Park compound in Chanhassen, Minnesota. Though the late singer's body was cremated shortly after his death, a vial of his blood was extracted and kept on file by the Midwest Medical Examiner, according to the document. While there have not been any claims from individuals alleging Prince has any as-yet-unidentified direct heirs, the filing recognizes "that parentage issues might arise and that timing can be of concern when conducting genetic testing." Earlier last week, Prince's sister, Tyka Nelson, and four of his five surviving half-siblings appeared in court to begin sorting out the late singer's multimillion-dollar estate, for which he has no known will. During that hearing, a judge formalized the appointment of Bremer Trust to handle the estate's financial matters. www.cbsnews.com/news/man-files-paternity-suit-against-princes-estate/

I loved reading this and am sharing it for your enjoyment. Prince, baby, you were much too fast Deborah Orr I laboured under the delightful misapprehension, for quite a few years of my life, that Prince was pretty much part of the family. It all began when Bellshill-born Sheena Easton appeared on Esther Rantzen’s talent show The Big Time in 1979. Sheena’s maiden name, my mother informed me, was Orr. My Dad’s cousin George was related to the Bellshill Orrs, so Sheena was some kind of cousin. This was easy for me to believe. The two of us had the same nose. Anyway, Sheena was a bit naff. It was nothing much to boast about, more a guilty pleasure than anything else, like having played in the park with Neil Reid, before he’d become famous, on Hughie Green’s Talent show, Opportunity Knocks, with the awesomely terrible hit single, Mother of Mine. But Sheena had stopped being naff, within five years, in the most spectacular way. She got into dance-pop and started collaborating with Prince, producing hit singles with him, appearing at his concerts, guesting on his albums. The two, for some years, were romantically linked. During this time, the genius of Prince was still unfolding, and my cousin was there beside him, working with him, being his friend, maybe his lover, as all that happened. go here for the rest www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2016/apr/22/prince-baby-you-were-much-too-fast

These are disappearing too fast. If you think you might just have time for one, watch the AMA performance of Purple Rain. He was the most incredible performer my generation will ever see. The crowd was hypnotized and at the end they exploded. Too good. If you have time for two, try Summertime. If possible, try to watch them all.
