A cloudy, cool morning moving into a warm and sunny afternoon. I have been baking pies this morning. 4 of them. 3 for family members and one, a banana cream, to keep. Now for a little TV and then a trip to the Market Place. What kinds of pies, Jessie? All cream pies this time. 2 banana creams - we kept one of those. Then, there were a coconut cream and a chocolate cream. I wanted to see whether I could make coconut cream as good as the Edwards brand they sell at Kroger's. I am sure my son will let me know.

Sunny but cool today. More like March. The past few days have been a little too warm for the season.
Big basketball weekend with the South Eastern Conference tournament. Everything else takes back seat for the fans.
UConn beat Cincinnati yesterday in other conference play by a very iffy last second dunk. The problem being that the clock had apparently hit a snag and stalled for several seconds, meaning that last score is forever in doubt. The correct time was probably up when it was made. I'll try to find a write up and put it in sports later.
Hope all here have a satisfactory weekend.

Clear skies and fairly warm this morning. Daylight savings time kicked in at 2 a.m. so we are now only 4 hours behind the U.K.. This will last for a couple of weeks or so if I remember correctly.
A slower day than yesterday and I'm glad. My sister has been visiting off and on and just left for her home on the east coast. She'll be back (also, off and on) a few times and then spend a whole week for the 4th of July. That hot sunny holiday is her favorite and every year it appeals to me a little more, too. I used to love the winter holidays best, but not so much now.
St. Patrick's Day is coming up this week. We seldom do much to celebrate, even though my 2 older children are almost one-half Irish. Now and then, we make the effort to pub hop a little, just to see the various costumes and touch base with people we don't see often. Doubt that's going to happen this year. Too many other things going on.
Have a good Sunday and get ready to greet the work week.
XO Beth

Did yard sale and thrift shop yesterday.... $2 got me four pictures so I'm happy; they need a little touchup but not a big deal.
Got a framed 33 rpm from 1920....I'm very happy about that one as I love old stuff and got it for fifty cents

Sounds pretty cool.
