It hasn't been a very bad winter here. I think we've had 2 snows and neither one stayed on the ground over 3 or 4 days. It's sunny and cold today. Snow came down yesterday but didn't stick.
It's Friday but nothing special because I have to work tomorrow. Days off are Sunday and Monday. Both of those days are supposed to be nice, in the 50s and 60s Fahrenheit.

I walked through eucalyptus leaves on my walk so now it smells like that in here because it got on my tires of walker...smells good
We miss so much of life while using a car....today I realized there is a huge wetlands close to me and the frog chorus was quite loud and I found a pussywillow tree that was huge...I never saw catkins that huge in Michigan.

Blue sky is already visible. Promising. We're forecast temps in the high 50s tomorrow. No coats necessary as long as the wind doesn't pick up. U of KY basketball this afternoon. Dinner's in the crock pot; I have a new Vanity Fair and a movie on Netflix for tonight. With all the thorns and thistles, there's still a bright spot or two here and there.

Bitterly cold night but only a light frost the sky is blue and clear of cloud visitors this afternoon Sounds like a sign of coming improvement. It's been a cold morning, here, but sunny and supposed to warm up considerably this afternoon and over the next day or two. Really looking forward to that.

A cloudy, cool morning moving into a warm and sunny afternoon.
I have been baking pies this morning. 4 of them. 3 for family members and one, a banana cream, to keep.
Now for a little TV and then a trip to the Market Place.
