Spring's almost here! Expect anything, weather-wise, this month. Easter is the 27th so I'm hoping for something really nice for that occasion. Waiting for Spring

Maybe my senility is coming to the surface, but I thought 1 March 2016 was today, Tuesday, and yet the calendar shows March first as Sunday. Maybe I'm just not reading it correctly? ?

lol ... Well, this one is just a touch "girly". I may change it out again when I have more time, but at least this is 2016-accurate.
Good Afternoon! Super Tuesday and all is well .. at least so far so good. As expected, March came dancing in like a lamb. Mild temps, sunshine and blue skies with a few puffy clouds. Does not bode well for Easter, but we're enjoying it today.
Looking forward to watching the ballot count this evening and trying to make sense of this crazy election year in the U.S..
Have a good'un

I do get the humor with that Beth and like all good humor it is based on truth. There was a time when I carried multiple tasks at the same time. Switching from one to another carrying all details and schedules in my mind.
Now as I am entering a more mature time of life the number of activities I handle at one time have dropped to one. Even then it has a lot to do with what I am doing, such as trying to remember where are the public restrooms when traveling around town (something that seems to have become more important in these years.
One of the things I was always good at doing was knowing where I was going and the best way to get there, now it seems more and more common that when driving I tell myself, that I should have turned at that last corner, then, circling around to get back to that corner I have to remember why I wanted to turn at that corner.
However, I am proud of the fact that I still remember to zip up my pants, at least most times.

On the plus side, you're doing very very well at retaining the knowledge you've compiled over the years and you write a mean post. My sense of direction is pretty poor and always has been. The GPS saves me time almost every single day. Hang in there.

I too like regular paper maps. I too find that when I’m listening to something like the radio, and then something else starts blaring (at least it seems to be blaring to me) I can’t understand either one. I’ve also noticed of late, more and more people mumble, and they seem to look away from me when speaking, or they’ll have their hand over their mouth. I can’t understand them and I think they do that on purpose just to aggravate me. I am also coming to believe that there is a group of people who get together and they plan to go to the grocery store at the same time I do. Then they block, and have neighborhood meetings, in aisles I wish to go down. They also bring all of their kids to use the store as a playground. My wife tells me that I’m just turning into a grouch. That can’t be true because I get along with everyone, except those I mentioned.

The part that bothers me most is a vague suspicion that the employees pick the times I usually go to restock shelves, thereby blocking the aisles. They seem offended if I don't back up and go away. I shop at Kroger and Whole Foods, btw. I prefer a smaller store for food, but these are the closest. I think they have run the other grocers out of business.

Once I made a suggestion to the local WalMart and they looked at me like I was nuts.
All I suggested was that a single day a month be set aside so that they allow into the store only men over 35 years of age.
It seemed a very reasonable request to me. Besides making the shopping very quick and reasonable, it should cut down on mental depression for men which would reduce the number of alcoholics. In addition, it should extend the life of male clothing, that is, we could wear all those clothes that our wives mistakenly believe are worn out. I don’t understand, what are a few holes between friends.
