We've got snow in the forecast for Thursday, but like you say, mouse, I don't think it's gonna stick. We've had some warm days and the ground isn't cold enough. At least I hope not.

The month of March is looking to be quite rainy but not complaining because it may relieve the drought and stop fires.
Nothing on tap today.....have to roost until payday next week....once a month check is challenging at times.

Once I made a suggestion to the local WalMart and they looked at me like I was nuts. All I suggested was that a single day a month be set aside so that they allow into the store only men over 35 years of age. It seemed a very reasonable request to me. Besides making the shopping very quick and reasonable, it should cut down on mental depression for men which would reduce the number of alcoholics. In addition, it should extend the life of male clothing, that is, we could wear all those clothes that our wives mistakenly believe are worn out. I don’t understand, what are a few holes between friends. That would be a violation of federal, and probably of state, law. There was a case that made it to the U.S. Supreme Court about a car wash that offered a ladies' night, and the car wash proprietor lost.

14th Amendment, I would imagine.

14th Amendment, I would imagine. Yes, that would cover discrimination issues. 4th Amendment to the Constitution was ratified on July 9, 1868, and granted citizenship to “all persons born or naturalized in the United States,” which included former slaves recently freed. In addition, it forbids states from denying any person "life, liberty or property, without due process of law" or to "deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.” By directly mentioning the role of the states, the 14th Amendment greatly expanded the protection of civil rights to all Americans and is cited in more litigation than any other amendment.

We're having a few snow flurries this morning, but it isn't likely to turn into anything worse. In 3 days, we'll be back in the seasonal 50s for a week or so.
I have to be out and about today but should be back here, late afternoon, and then again tonight. There's a Republican debate tonight in which there is an excellent chance of a brawl-like situation. The rank and file GOP is desperate to end Trump's chances of winning the nomination. My thought is ... the people who have cheered him on and voted for him are not going to be happy about that.
Pass the pretzels.
::sigh::

62° and no clouds with nice breeze.....walked a mile as part of program to get myself moving everyday.
It smells like childhood out there. I love being outdoors.

What a wonderful turn of a phrase, Cheffy. I feel that way in the summer when the grass has just been cut. It does smell like childhood. Walking a mile a day is a very good habit and soon you will notice feeling better and stronger. Good for you.

It is snowing this evening and quite cold. The house seemed unusually cold until I found an open window that must have been raised slightly to air out a room. At least, since it is March, we know the chill will not last very much longer.
We are more than ready for spring.

I love my new toaster oven....for the few small things I bake, it's perfect.
My kitchen is only 65 square feet so have had to learn to cook in tiny space

Just about enough for one at a time. I used to have an apartment with one of those kind of kitchens. They called it a kitchenette.

I think the whole apartment is 475 sq ft but it's comfy....no utilities and rent 30% of income...have to be 62+ so it's very quiet and safe.
