Hi Fretslider, It came from men talk. I was given that information. SL you cannot listen to one talk on any subject and then quote it as being the norm or conclude you know about a subject on one talk..in ANY subject.... to know and to understand you have to go way beyond your own personal experiences ... I say yay for men..they are not some brutal enemy ready to rape and pillage and ravish at the drop of a hat..far from it ..they are just like women but different ....the good the bad and the down right evil.. in order..Fret..Men..Lin make good points you need to take them on board and understand and stop insulting half of the human race just because you listened to a talk..it doesn't follow that the talk was correct Hi Mouse, when I was a teenager growing up in Scotland, I suffered the indignity of men indulging in all sorts of sexual behavior, so that I came to believe that men had great difficulty controlling their sexual feelings, which resulted in the things that I endured as an innocent teen. I have been grabbed and kissed whilst talking to a man, I have had my breast grabbed in the work place and on the street by a passer by. I have had a man rub himself against me in a crowd situation, I have had my suspender that held my nylons up, pulled through my skirt so that it snapped back into place. This took place on a crowded train, standing room only. I've had men masturbating in a doorway across where I was waiting for a bus, the list goes on. But the most blatant behavior of all, was when I was queuing outside a cinema in the evening and had my hands crossed behind my back, a man standing behind me, put his penis into my hand. I withdrew my hands straight away and didn't even look around because I was so shocked and embarrassed. The only thing I have missed out on is rape, for which I am eternally grateful.

Hi Men an tol, If you are right in your assuptions, then why is it that when the Americans were at war with Japan or whichever country it was? That the women jumped to their death even holding babies in their arms, rather than be raped which was what they expected to happen. It seems that no matter which country you live in, the women expect to be raped.!!! I wonder why???

Hi Men an tol, What about the word 'slut' I wonder how that word came in to being? I suppose you are going to tell me that as a 'Romantic' you have never heard of it or know what it means.
I believe that a man coined this word for women who indulge in sex just for the sake of sex itself. The man can instigate sex and if the woman goes along with it, she's labeled a slut. What shall we call the man? Any suggestions?

One has to question the [male] company you keep. Hi Fretslider, I don't hang around with people who think and talk crudely.!!! Some people seem to always want to cast aspersions, they don't want to give the person the benefit of the doubt. They always believe the worst. To recap.... I think that's where a lot of men go wrong in their thinking. They seem to think that women secretly want to be raped and that the rapist is actually doing the woman a favour.
It came from men talk. I was given that information.
I don't hang around with people who think and talk crudely. But you do hang around with men who think rape is a social good.

funnily enough lust,, the need for sex..sexual desire ...is a natural instinct inbuilt into all animals us included..its all about the continuing of the species ...that some humans put the word love into the equation is bescides the point and remember that not ALL humans talk of love or equate sex with love or love with sex different societies and different cultures and different ages aproach sex in different ways ..the same with love...our ideas are western ideas and not universal to the entire human race during every epoch/era/culture Hi Mouse, why is it that we choose a mate over another who is perhaps just as goodlooking and with similar nice qualities? There has to be a reason, and that reason is: that we fall in love, we don't know why, we just know that we do. Back home in Scotland there was a University graduate who adored me and wanted to marry me. He was an only son and his father was a Major, so he came from a good family. He was goodlooking, intelligent and well mannered, I liked being in his company, but that was all.!!! I was not in love with him and yet he was the perfect man, he had all the best qualities that any woman would want to have in the man that she would one day marry, but he wasn't for me. I equate lust with people who go out at night looking for a one night stand, in other words they want sex and they are not caring how they get it. Hopefully they will find a willing partner, if not, they might take it illegally, which ofcourse is RAPE. LOVE has nothing to do with LUST. """""there has to be a reason, and that reason is: that we fall in love, we don't know why, we just know that we do.""" there are oodles of books on the subject we do know why .... ... the basic reasons we mate are perfectly natural built in instincts..in built in every living thing on the planet there are solid reason we choose a mate all to do with survival of the species and all inbuilt in us and the same applys to the men seeking a mate ..we all give off I think they are called phenomes? but what ever the correct term.. we all send out silent messages and thus the human races continues..falling in love as a precourcer for breeding is a very modern idea..as in the past necessity would be the reasons for getting to gether more than attraction... more so in the higher echelons of society its true..where offspring were used as bargaining chips for reasons of state/money/political/ or family advantage the fathers being the ones who did the arranging ..and love had nothing to do what so ever with the proceedings # lower down the social levels the same thinking continued....common sence over taking any ideas of love or for that matter lust in a majority of cases what we call falling in love..is simply an animal attraction..and as it wouldn't do for us all to be attracted to the same people..different things attract different people so blame nature ..

The friend who overheard these men talking was a woman and she told me what they had said. I wasn't in the bar. Do I have to spell it out for you. It seems that what I am imparting in coversation is going right over your head. Whew.!!!

Dresses and skirts were always below the knee , and my top area covered to the neck, so I was always suitably dressed. I've just remembered another incident. I was 50 years old and had just got off the bus carrying bags of groceries, I was almost home when this fellow about 30 came riding by me on his bike with his erect penis on show in broad daylight in a built up area. He deliberately drew my attention to himself, so I gave him a piece of my mind. I told him he was a sick fellow and ought to be ashamed of himself.
