Rog baby is not infallible and I thinks he's bl**dy lucky not to have been ground into the grass. Apparently, every time before this match Rog has beated the snot out of this guy on grass. So....Rog is not on top of his game and I don't believe he should have been seeded one.

And Sciavona whatever the hell her name was who won the French over Stosur went out 1st round in 3. Told you you'd never hear of her again.
She didn't beat Stosur. Stosur just couldn't handle the pressure.
I really just can't believe Stosur didn't win the French. I would have bet money on her. Unbelievable.
Anyway. I don't think she has a good chance. She'll probably go through until the round of 16.
Fed's in trouble. I really think. Nadal's the man.

Serena just wiped the floor with the poor girl she played.....it was brutal. Blake has lost the first two sets......darn it.......
Schiavone.........yeah....that might just be it.......but it was still pretty fun to watch. Everyone really thought that Jelena Jankovic should have won that.....no Williams sisters, no Henin, Clijsters.......that it was really hers.......then with her gone.....Stosur really had no excuse either.....I think she folded under the pressure also......and seriously......Schiavone played with all her heart.
Did you see the Djokovic match last night? Went to 11 p.m. it was awesome!!! five setter and he barely pulled it out!!!
Going to be a fun two weeks!!!

wwos.ninemsn.com.au/article.aspx?id=1074623At least she didn't offer lame excuses. Stosur offers no excuses for shock loss By Darren Walton 14:26 AEST Wed Jun 23 2010 Samantha Stosur refuses to believe she'll never contend for the greatest prize in tennis despite suffering her most shattering Wimbledon defeat yet. The French Open runner-up offered no excuses for her shock 6-4 6-4 first-round loss to Estonian qualifier Kaia Kanepi on Tuesday, saying she'd simply been outplayed, but vowed to return to the All England Club to complete unfinished business. "I'd love to do well here," Stosur said. "As Australians, we've always had a great tradition of doing well here. "I haven't been able to have my own success yet but I'm still hopeful in years ahead I'll be able to turn it around." World No.6 Stosur's premature exit leaves her with an unflattering 5-8 Wimbledon win-loss record, but coach David Taylor says his charge - and Australian fans - needn't despair. "A lot's happened in a very short period of time for Sam," Taylor said. "The goal this year was to get in the top 10 (rankings) and do well at the grand slams. Well, she's got to the final of one already and she's maybe moving closer to the top five now, depending what happens (to others) at this tournament. "How can you not be happy with her. She's won more matches than any other player this year. "This is the first tournament she hasn't made it past the quarters since March. That's pretty big. "In four months, this is the only time she didn't get a decent result at a tournament. That's the most consistent player of the year. "But it's all happened in quick time, so maybe she needs to process that a bit better and learn how to handle everything a bit better." Taylor believes Stosur has the potential to live up to her ranking at Wimbledon - "and make the quarter-finals and, from there, anything's possible" - but needs to start executing better on the grass, where points are often over in a flash. Primarily, though, Taylor says the 26-year-old must ease the pressure on herself.I think that's why she's gone. She's just can't handle the pressure and I think it's all internal. Oh well, anyone else to beat the Williams?

Well....I think the French really got to her. She just needs some time to sort thru all those emotions and work that out. I think she's a great player........hopefully she'll work thru it.
I really liked Amelie Mauresmo.....but she couldn't handle the pressure.
Henin and Clijsters are in the mix.....I think they both can take their game to the Williams. Will be interesting. Serena just has power.......and I think she's too heavy to move well. So when they start moving her a lot she starts having a lot of errors. Venus has more options and moves better. I really like her and have no problem with her. I'm afraid I'll throw something at the TV if Serena wins it.

OMG!!! "The longest match in tennis history was suspended because of darkness at 59-59 in the fifth set at Wimbledon on Wednesday night. The first-round match between 23rd-seeded John Isner of Tampa, Fla., and qualifier Nicolas Mahut of France already had been suspended because of fading light Tuesday night after the fourth set. They have been playing each other for a total of exactly 10 hours — 7 hours, 6 minutes in the fifth set alone, enough to break the full-match record of 6:33, set at the 2004 French Open." nbcsports.msnbc.com/id/37877953/ns/sports-tennis/Amazing!!!!!!

My girl Justine is in there strong though!!!! I would love for her to win it!!!!!! Nadal was a little shaky yesterday.....but I think every now and then he needs a little wake up like that....

Nadal won....but it went five sets and he had to have the trainer out a couple of times........a little worried......first he worked on his arm.....then it looked like his thigh.......not his knee......not sure.......better not be hurt!!! One funny thing......there was a woman holding a sign in the crowd that said...."I will have your babies" She was pretty gorgeous too......they would be pretty good looking babies.
