My grandchildren are much better and have spent their weekend playing at home in the sun. Back to the regular daily activities tomorrow, now that the Derby and the boxing are over. May your weekend end on a happy note. the question is, did the pies get made

May your weekend end on a happy note. the question is, did the pies get made In fact, Jumbo, I did that today. I'll try to get here in time tomorrow to put up the recipes although they are tried and true .. nothing novel or difficult about them. I do make nice short pie crust which is probably part of the appeal. It was hot in the 80s here today with more tomorrow. I made 5 of the strawberry cream pies, kept one and took the others round this afternoon so people I know who like them would have a nice chilled slice for their dessert tonight.

A nice day that's very warm with sun and showers taking turns.
Election Day in the U.S. tomorrow. Good wishes and may some of the better candidates win.
Our election-in-the-process is the weirdest thing I've ever seen as elecetions go with all these people declaring themselves as candidates almost a year aheard of when they should be. It means the public is going to get that much more time to watch them and make judgement. Weird.
Where is everybody? Quiet board.

I've had a very busy day off line and, so, kind of appreciate the calm. It's been sprinkling showers here all afternoon. Annie, I think they want early starts to all the voting public to become as familiar with their presence. Not wure whether that's the best idea for some of them or not.

Much as I'm enjoying my time, my sister is in town for a couple of days and I am out to spend a little time with her. Fret is out for the evening, so your admins are slacking more than usual. I'll be back later and am pretty sure Fret will be back tomorrow.
Have a good evening and night.
