We have rain today, too, mouse. Big thunder clap woke me about 5 a.m.. Temps in the 60's F though so definitely not cold. I have a busy afternoon and evening. See youse later, hopefully. it was 68 here at 2am this morning. that is warm, and NOT a good thing this time of year Have you been through a tornado there before, Jim? Hopefully you have a good siren!

Hopefully you have a good siren! the closest that one has come to me is a little over a mile. a couple of years ago, one was supposed to be heading up the highway toward us, but lifted back up before it got here. i'm perfectly happy to have them stay a mile away and just watch it on tv. our siren is only about a quarter mile away, and goes off at 3am every friday morning

i colored eggs last night. i'm a happy boy Wow! You have a stronger stomach than I do. I really really hate the smell of boiled eggs and vinegar. I did it a lot longer than I wanted to. Now, I get all the Russell Stover varieties and jelly bellies and a few peeps and arrange them in baskets and a big ol' crystal lazy susan and put them around here and there. There's a luittle shop down in Newport that creates hand dipped eggs - wonderful. Leaving in a few for brunch where there will be omelets, bacon and mimosas. That will be good enough this year.

We have bright, warm sun. Sweets you might want to limit, but last week my doctor said to me ... "y'know Beth, after all these years of yelling around, they've discovered 3 eggs or so a week won't affect your cholesterol at all".

That's a beautiful flying insect, mouse. Can't tell whether it's a butterfly or moth. Happy Easter to everybody. We took daughter to Sunday School but she has a cold and we didn't think sniffles all through church would be a good way to spend Easter morning so now we're off to visit her Grandmother's house. That can only be a winner!

Nice looking butterfly. You do a good job picking your subjects, mouse.
It was a little bit cool yesterday but good and warm today. We took the kids to a big Easter Egg hunt and then had a great couple of days at get-togethers with family and friends.
All rested and ready for Monday, whatever it might bring.
