Thank you for the nice calendar, S3. I'm off work now and the rain's over. Moving into a hot, swimming pool day.

Rather cool and rainy yesterday, but with bright sun and high 80s F temperatures today.
AC for sure.

I got caught up a little on my sleep with a nap and we are now off to take daughter and friend to Coney Island. They're all excited but we plan to stay no longer than 2 hours so it won't wear us down. have a nice rest-of-the-weekend.

It is summer weather with sunny skies and a few wispy clouds. Very warm.
Except for a few rainy days, this is our weather until the heat of dog days.
May as well enjoy it.

We don't have a lot o different weather in the summer. We have to watch out for the storms though. They can turn ugly real fast.

Mouse, you said something about drawing a pic on another thread and because you seem to have a talent in art and photography, that might be a un thing to do for the Daily thread's July calendar. Just make iit seasonal and I'll bet it would be better than what we're able to ind on Google. If you don't want to, just say no, but give it some thought anyway.

Keep us posted. Hope you're better soon. My mom had cateracts removed 2 years ago. They removed them one eye at a time a couple or 3 weeks apart. Laser surgery and it wasn't hard. I've never seen her happier than when it was a success.

What qa good idea mouse and Dex.
I i had a cateract removed several years ago. During the weeks after the surgery, I was given steroid drops to apply to the eye 3 times a day. It was a great thrill to discover that after I put the drops in my eye and for about an hour afterward, I had crystal clear vision. I could look 2 blocks up the street in broad daylight and see exactly what foods my neighbors were packing into a picnic cooler. That "super vision" did not last very long but was amazing while it did.
