glorious again......the only trouble is.. things are quickly coming into bloom and quickly over because of the heat... but I am not complaining

I hope you get your vision back asap, mouse. Maybe you will be ready to add your art work to one of the fall calendars.

a lovely morning again... friends came round and we sat soaking up the sun again..... at the moment I am seeing the word cateract every where.. after the wedding pictures of the queen shoed her wearing sun glasses... yesterday she wasn't wearing them and the commentator tremarked that her eyes must be all right now after having hetr catteracts done
yesterday was the official birthday and trooping of the colour...I watched the shortened version in the evening... I think it was one of the best ive seen...very smart very disciplined especially the slow marches... and didn't she do well for a 92 yr old[and no easing of the back and shoulders as she did in St Georges]she is a game old bird plus its Philips birthday today ... he becomes 97......

rather cloudy and a decidedly lower tempreture... so it may just be the day to well water the garden again.. as the sun will not burn off the water I don't like watering at night as it encourages snails and slugs.. and when its been as hot as it has been .. tend to use a watering can only on plants that soon get dehydrated as soon as they are in the shade or shaded by another plant

Sunshine this morning and then thunderstorms for this afternoon. Off to finish up this job before the rain comes in.

well the grey didn't last yesterday and it was another scortcher here... this morning is similar all though temps are slightly lower but I can hope the sun will come out for this afternoon ... so when friends come back from walking we can sit in the garden... enjoying the planys and the perfume...

There's a soft rain pattering and I'm leaving for home. Free day tomorrow because I worked overtime tonight.

we are now in our fourth week of no rain.. apart from a brief drizzle..... although other parts of the country have had floods[couple of weeks back]have to say its very enjoyable and makes life very easy not having to faff about.""will I be warm enough""
quite a wind blowing this morning,, I shall have to go out and stake a few plants.... and that's been great to.... not having gardens battered by winds and rain......
