Forecast for tomorrow will take uis into the high 70s. Perfect weather just an edge from "hot"!
Tomorrow will be a perfect day to be out and about. My daughter said she would make us all kinds of masks so we could go to the part and here and there. We'll see hot that works out.

We took a walk today to the little shopping area about a half mile away. Sweater weather but not actually cold.
The tea shop was not serving but we were able to purchase a sampler of berry flavored teas to try at home.
I am drinking the red raspberry at the moment. Interesting.

grey and cold with some rain... though its expected to brighten up as they day goes on
today is P Charlottes 5th birthday....oddly there has as yet been no story from H and M.. usually when theres a birthday or royal happening they come out with something to try and top it... its happened so many times now it cannot be accidental... still there are still hours to go before the day is over
daughter has just come back from shopping, she took the high road back... and says the clarity of the air allowed her to see the lakes from one place and to Wales and the welsh mountains from another.... it will be a shame when we lose that as things return to normal...… how ever its settled one argument.. and that's the one that pollution is all the fault of farting cows pigs and sheep.....because we have just as many cows/pigs/etc and pollution went away...… which brings us back to the big polutters being Cars,, factories etc as most people already knew but the greens and save the planet wallahs wanted to get rid of the beasts of the fields
seems during this staying home time.. there has been a run on flour as cooking and bread making has had an upsurge... there are still a few flour mills up and down the country where they grind and sell their own flour and they have been doing a roaring trade.. theres one not too far away from us.. they produce both white and brown flour … and the bread produced is as different to the mass produced as one can get...very tasty.... all the artisan crafts seem to have become very popular from basket making to weaving .. ironworking .. you name it theres a group getting together via computers what could be better than a country of immaculate gardens and the smell of freshly baked bread..... yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

We have the flowering trees and spring flowers this weekend along with an extra warm day (to 80 degrees F), though. Very pleasant . My nephew went fishing yosterday afternoon with some other boys. I wondered if it was legal. DIL said she assumed so. One of the other boys was a police officer's son. Virus or no virus, spring will come. It's just up to us to handle it safely and sensibly.

a lovely bright sunshiny morning.. though there are some large white clouds around and the birds song is loud and clear yesterday two deer were calmly walking down tne road...we know they are around because we see their hoof prints... and get an occasional glimpse at night... but we haven't sighted them during the day before.. hope they stay away once the traffic is back and they don't get killed
seems we are to end this lockdown by the middle of thismonth...in some ways it will be missed.... people have had time to recharge and reacess… not every one but certainly a good number....people like me are still expected to stay put till the end of june I think.... not so sure if that is going to work.. though
Borises baby boy is to be called Wilfred Lawrie Nicholas Jhonston… quite a mouth full for a wee one...he looks to be a big baby with rather a lot of hair bit like his father and brothers and grandparent
Captain Tom Moore who raised some nearly 30 million pound was made an honoury Colonel...his 100th birthday pressie from the Queen

Sounds likely you are having a very nice day. We had a thunder storm shortly after daylight. Now, it is turning off chilly and cloudy. I'll be surprised if there is not more rain.
Here's hoping the rest of the weekend is pleasant for us all.

By all means do not depend on politicians to tell us what to do. Pay attention to the medical personnel who have no close political ties and use common sense.

Rain and now the sun's coming out from behind white clouds. The forecast was for rain all day.
Hope you are all having a good day ... sunshine or rain. Weather should not be the determining factor.

We are having warm days and chilly nights.
We decided to wait until later in the week to go grocery shopping so are trying to make do on what is left in the pantry and fridge. Today, for lunch, we toasted English muffins lightly and grilled sausage patties. There were a few slices of colby cheese left over from last week and they were delicious, melted with the sausage. Citrus fruit cups were perfect for our salad with peach ice cream scoops for dessert. Excellent!
Now for a nap.

Unless the forecast changes it will be pretty chilly the rest of the week here.
I've had to be mostly out for a few days but should be back and settled in by tomorrow night.
Best wishes.

looks lovely out there with a brilliant blue sky,but its rather windy so will wait for it to warm up... managed o sit in the sun yesterday felt refreshed by the time I came back indoors
seems we will be told on sunday that lock down[ that so many have disregarded] will be lifted.. when and how etc etc
DILs mum died yesterday afternoon..DIL had made a recording for her,, just some talking as though they were together in the room... and she died while it was being played.. dil was just the other side of the window and a nurse was with mum...no pain no fuss just passed away very gently.. which was good for all concerned.....
watched ""room with a view"".. it was rather like walking into a room with old friends as all the cast are such well known faces.. I find that with so many British films... even the supporting cast in so many of the older films became household names for one reason or another and Judy Dench has become the oldest person to appear on the cover of Vogue
