went out and managed to buy a pair of shoes,, i was in desperate need of just a smart pair of plain black low heeled shoes for every day today is unseasonable waem.. we sweltered in the car but it seems its like that nationwide and the winds start tonight and tomorrow I'm all for low heeled shoes which are better for your feet. Why stilettos were ever thought up is craziness IMO. I used to love my stillettos never wore them all the time..but your right SL they were dreadful for ruining feet and now I just don't do heels at all.. well I have just one pair of kitten heels for when its necessary to be ultra smart..like once in a blue moon some time never .. I prefer comfort these days .. so after the clear out. my shoe rack is very empty

I never saw any of that when I lived in Scotland. Is it just happening in Germany or further afield? itrs in America.. a few do it in England.. but it doesn't seem to have taken off realy. infacti thik young adults seem to be the ones who use it as an excuse to party I knew it was taken seriously in America, but as I have never taken part in All Saint's day, I don't really know much about it.

It must be hell if they are on their feet all the time.

The long weekend is going very well here. Daughter visited this morning and we made custard pies and a big bowl of chocolate bread pudding. Her favorites, but we are keeping some for ourselves. Must try to get a photo or two for the Photography thread. Love custard tarts, chocolate bread pudding sounds good too.

I have some photos some where of family doing a Halloween party

FAll has been slow this year. Very hot weather as recently as last week so everything is still green. Farther north the leaves should be turning as usual. Pumpkins are in abundance at the grocery stores.

I doubt if ours are imported but ya never know. Every grocery store here has a nice display and some add squash and indian corn. Looks pretty cool.
Restaurants have pumpkin bread, pumpkin pie, pumpkin cake, bakeries, boo.
That will last from now into next year.

Sunny and seasonal (60s F). Great pumpkin pic! The markets where I shop also have gorgeous displays.
It's lunch time. I had to stop by the bank and the pharmacy and now Ihave to rush to have a sandwich and get back to work.

I am thinking of making apple cobblers on Monday with red hot candies mixed in to spice them up.
