It's one of those rare occasions when we are having the same kind of day - weather wise, mouse. brilliant sunshine, blue sky with a few puffy clouds that seem to be clearing out quickly.
I have a grinding headache! Anything I can put off until later in the day, is temporarily postponed. Need to find an elusive bottle of tylenol.
Later.

It's still hot summertime here. Labor Day weekend is the biggest public holiday celebration of the year except for July 4th, all kinds of events, concerts, parades, fireworks and block parties.

Okay, that's it for me tonight. I slept half my nights sleep, now to go get the rest. Friday, already. A wonderful long weekend!

Tomorrow is the last swimming day of the season. The pools close until next summer. It's been a good one this year.

"hedge clippers", powered by her 2 hands. I was always fascinated at the smooth results she got. I tried that once and only once. Left a number of gaping holes! Have fun with the shopping .. maybe a pretty sweater or blouse to wear with all those nice slacks you got last year?

Hedge trimming is tedious and not easy, especially if you have a lot of hedge. The best idea is leave it to a professional. My neighbors have a 25 foot hedge along the left side of their lot. It is about 5 and a half feet high. It is always perfection, and I am sure that is because they have a yard man who comes once every 2 weeks.
I am glad to say we are staying home for the Labor Day weekend. We intend to get out and do grocery shopping early in the morning. Some of our family will come here for Sunday dinner. Otherwise, we are going to be safe and cool, this year.
Have a good weekend everyone.

We have our usual (seemingly) endless summer of hot and sunny.
I wanted to hang out to see Dex's music quiz for today. Don't know why he's running late, but something must have held him up.
He'll hopefully be along soon. I'll check back later.
