Not what I said, someone could has a false belief they were homosexual. I suppose there is always a possibility of a false beliefe BUT they would soon find out the reality of their sexuality... and there are the bi sexuals..they exist..but its hardly a false beliefe what would be so bad about any persons beliving they are homosexual...hardly the worst thing they could be Well generally speaking a false belief is usually considered a bad thing. For example many mentally ill people have false beliefs, they are rarely considered a good thing. |

sex and things sexual is something where we find out our prefferences or not..i cannot imagine any sexually active person being under a false beliefe as to which way they swing nor could I agree that there is any mental illness in conection with homosexuality
of course there is always a possibility of mental illness CAUSED by actions and words of family/social/religious pressures on an homosexual male or female

I agree with you wholeheartedly Mouse, it is cruel.!!! You have so called vigilantes beating homosexuals up or even killing them, how cruel is that? I may believe homosexuality is a perversion and sin but never should anyone murder or harm them in any way...their sin is no greater than the person hating them. given that homosexuality is as old as man him self and happens in other species and that its a born condition....in every culture and nationality past and present one has to ask a basic question...is the design faulty and if the design is faulty...well that opens another can of worms |

People go where they are attracted. Now, what drives that attraction is another matter. And it's a powerful force that can lead to murder in extreme cases. People don't wake up thinking they'll choose to be any sexual orientation. Pseudo-social science explanations merely cloud the issue. This is about biology. Hi Fretslider, we know it is about biology, but we do have a brain that can make a choice. So we can make a decision either way, whatever we think is the best for our ultimate welfare. I am not in a position to provide examples, only what I have read in the paper ages ago plus hearsay.I am certainly not one thank goodness, It must be awful to have to put up with the treatment that homosexuals have been subjected to.Anything could happen once it is made public . As I stated, people don't wake up thinking they'll choose to be any sexual orientation. There are no examples of someone waking up on a Thursday morning deciding to be straight, gay or trans for the day. |

Hi Fretslider, Ofcourse that doesn't normally happen, but I have heard of people who like to try anything once, just to see what it is like, so your statement is not quite true. And again the females who have had a bad experience with men, may choose to have a lesbian relationship, with men doing the same thing under similar circumstances. So anything is possible in my opinion.!!!
