Dear Annie, here we are mixed up in the may and June Dailyi threads again. Not only that but the days of the week. Do not, I repeat NOT, celebrate Father's Day tomorrow. Hold off until Sunday. Best for your weekend. lololololololol What happened to the post, Jessie? I wonder if you imagined it?

Faather's Day, June 21st, 2015
Fathers' Day in United States
Father's Day in the United States is on the third Sunday of June. It celebrates the contribution that fathers and father figures make for their children's lives. Its origins may lie in a memorial service held for a large group of men, many of them fathers, who were killed in a mining accident in Monongah, West Virginia in 1907.
(It is the same in the U.K.)

Good morning, Marti. It's half past 10 a.m., here in the Greater Ohio River Valley. The sun's just peeking out as we had a very rainy night .. especially toward morning. I hope everyone else is getting off to a good start for a lovely June weekend.

Father's day is June 21st. I predict it will be a warm day just right for laying out in the lounge chair and listening to a ballgame on the radio.

33 degrees F right now. Pretty nippy for the 2nd day of June, in my opinion. Slow news day. Bruce Jenner is now Caitlyn Jenner. The end. Later. that's downright cold for june. naw, NEWSFLASH!! bruce jenner is BRUCE jenner. i haven't seen anywhere that the numbnuts has gone to court and had HIS name legally changed. until HE does, his name will remain BRUCE. machts nichts. the simple, yet absolutely irrefutable REALITY is that, if you are born a male, you will die a male. NOTHING that you do or so will change that THAT is the end of story

It has been a nice day working with the teens. I might consider looking for some kind of part time volunteer work like this after sunner is over. Chilly and rainy today. June is too late for cold weather. Maybe this is the last week. Tomorrow is hump day. May the rest of the week be nice for everyone. i would definitely trade you. it was ninety yesterday, and going to be 92 today. today should be chinook bath day. i got a little plastic pool, and TWO 50 foot hoses so he can play in it. he doesn't realize yet that it is also a bathtub

Hi, Jessie. Hope you're enjoying your day. it's getting harder and harder to find legitimate articles among Drudge Report links. They put up titles that sound sensational and like something that would attract interest but click on them and you find very "iffy" publications and stories written with poor english. Main stream media isn't carrying what they're after apparently. you can get that crap in the national enquirer

the wild winds have died dow...the place is littered with leaves...luckily the trees are full of sap and the damage has been minor to what it could have been...trees up rooted rather than branches blown off but its all over grey and very univiting having a quiet and restful day today..girding self up for tomorrow which will be a tv day as our womens group will congregate at one house[the one with the biggest telly screen] to watch the goings on at the centeinary of the WI at the Albert Hall in London..which the queen will attend..we have sent our president to represent us...she will be some where in that rather large place and is traveling down today... SO Fretty watch out an extra 5,000 women will be in London attending the R/Albert another of our memebers is already in London in preparation for the garden party at Buckingham Palace either Friday or saturday hosted by Camilla..was going to be the Queen..but she [queenie is approaching 90]any way our social secretary is representing us ..truth is she was the only one who actually wanted to go.....formal garden parties are a long time to be standing around..she our SS was a proffesional dancer and has remained very fit while the rest of us are falling to pieces or are just not royalists. .but we have checked her outfit and her hat is to our satisfaction.. made sure her shoes will be comfortable and of course she scrubs up well Ireland i would think that any garden party would be the ultimate in boredom. one at buckingham palace would have to be even worse

That should give them some extra smiles. It's early for this household on a Sunday and the weather is something that doesn't happen all that often - thick fog ... the kind you can't see your hand in front of you face in. I'm talking THICK and WHITE. I only went out far enough to get the Sunday paper from the porch and came straight back in. Chris, I'll bet you ARE enjoying that beautiful town on the water. I think of you there sometimes. Hi Marty. It't early Sunday morning EDT in these parts. ) Have a good'un.
