it was 29°F last evening; it has been dipping in the thirties every night for about a week now.....just typical Northern California weather. still on hold for moving further north until an apartment opens........#7 on the list so having to maintain patience.....I've already waited one year and am anxious to get going again and resettled. further north is crescent city. much further north than that and you run out of california so true but I'm still stuck in Williams so at this point, Eureka is further north

I've been on the list for a year and slowly moving forward.....the sad part is in order to get an apartment three things have to happen, the current tenant dies, goes to nursing home as they can no longer care for themselves or they move. I hear about one a month passes away so I will eventually get there and settle in. I love this area but it's just to rural for me with the nearest Walmart 27 miles away. It's warming up slightly but still chilly. look on the bright side. you don't have to deal with bumper to bumper traffic on your trip to walmart no traffic around here at all to be honest......the town doesn't even have a traffic signal. I hate going to Yuba City as the traffic is terrible once in town and I wonder how I ever lived like that.

Love the kitties, Sugi. They are beautiful! I watched a little cable TV tonight. Some of the conservative commentators are of the opinion Jeb Bush is a sure thing for the Republican nomination for President. In fact, one said Jeb would have the big money donors all wrapped up by spring 2015. Going to need a lot of popcorn. This is going to be a very interesting couple of years. We're still sitting in a cold pocket that doesn't want to relax it's hold on us. Now they're saying it should ease up by Monday. Fingers crossed. Off to bed now. Hope everyone's having a tolerable to good weekend. One more day to enjoy it.
