A very Happy and Successful New Year to you all. I'm anchored off my home port. So near and yet so far...but I was on the phone to home at midnight itself

a peaceful..prosperous and happy new year to every one
its unseasonably mild this morning though theres quite a strong wind daughter was working last night and Grandson decided to stay in as did his friends[wonders will never ceace and whats more he actually did some studying however..the only drink in the house was a bottle of Baillys..so he brought up two glasses and we sat and chatted and had a dram or two to welcome in the new year[even though it was a couple of hours to go till midnight ..I decided to turn in around 9-30 so our first footing will be this morning when the boy gets up...as he is both tall..male and dark he fits the bill....I shall give him a coin for wealth..a piece of coal for luck and he will go out the backdoor and come in through the front door

Happy New Year to all you Bablonians. I am hoping 2015 will bring good fortune and good cheer. For the past few years there has been too much gloom and doom. This New Year seems to be a little better. Let us be thankful and do our part to make it so.

I over slept which is no way to greet the 2nd day of the newyear... no sign of frost or snow this morning ..its still mild and the sun is actually shining I was given a swaying penguin driven by solar..so he is on the window sill...solaring the rays and swaying beautifully..though he will probably eventually drive me mad with his constant movement

Another very very cold day, here. Plenty of sunshine but bitter just the same.
Hoping for improvement tomorrow.
Chinese for supper and hoping to go to some after holidays sales tomorrow.
