They were very good and they were appreciated, too. I wonder whether many still make pancakes at home. We have so many breakfast restaurants and regular restaurants that serve delicious breakfasts it is tempting to go be waited on when we want a specialty like that. The most delicious ones here are I-HoP and Cracker Barrel. Mine are quite good though and I use an excellent golden maple syrup and real butter. My niece's son ate 4 with 2 sausages and a big glass of cold milk. I'll be leaving to go to bed soon. Thought I would log on and do a quote for today. Good Night. i do think that cracker barrel has better EVERYTHING. i like shoney's french toast though Hello Jumbo! Where have you been keeping yourself? Yes, Cracker Barrel is a favorite of ours.

Yes, Cracker Barrel is a favorite of ours. the video card on the dell decided to go kaput. i had to use the old hp, which is slower than hell. with the cable internet even, it makes dial up look warp speed, so, i didn't do much. i had 1500 emails by the time i got around to it. i really like cracker barrel. it's not the cheapest place around, but, it's not high end, and they have high end food

I'm glad to see you back up and running, Jumbo. You are missed when you don't come in from time to time.
We are having a Christmas Cantata at church tomorrow evening. It will be candle lit which I think makes it a very special event. I'm looking forward to it.
Good wishes everyone here has a busy and happy weekend.

No, but my daughter is one of the sopranos. Her 2 children will be sitting with me. I am spending an hour of my time browsing through the new Time magazine. It is the 'end of year' issue, summing up the good and the bad of 2014. They named the Ebola workers as the Persons of the Year. Very correct in my opinion. May you all have a pleasant end to your weekend.

It amazes me how many people with great voices did not become professional singers.

I agree with that, Jessie. I once atteneded the local high school presentation of Godspell and some of the cast had awesome voices. Also, when I was in college, I lived in an apartment complex. There were a couple of handy men there who sang as they worked and were very good ... one operatic quality.
This has been one of those days that goes on and on and on with nothing really accomplished. I'll be back afterwhile to put up quizzes. Maybe I can manage a good supper if nothing else.

Hello all.
Apologies for absence recently; I have been like the proverbial headless chicken, initially doing routine stuff at home & then having to do a lot in a hurry after a call to get on board the sister ship to what was supposed to be my own vessel in a hurry. This because the Chief Engineer had had a breakdown...
So, joined about 21 hours ago at Tees, & we have just sailed, bound for Mohammedia, Morocco. Should be there late 20th, agw.
Christmas was therefore on Sunday evening chez markindurham. Hey ho!
I'm on here now until about 5th January. Looks as though this ship will be my regular vessel for a couple of years now.
