mark, I hope this is the last long-way-around you'll have to deal with for awhile. It's good you're adaptable. I don't care much for surprises, so would be discouraged at this point.
Good sailing.

Well it's raining here in Chiswick again. Has anyone got any dry weather?

Ah, it's just one of those things. $h1t happens... Presently heading towards Scotland - well, the Firth of Forth. Loading full cargo of propane with destination Le Havre. Hopefully the weather presently hammering on the door of the English Channel will have gone by the time we get down there

I wish I had an olympics events guide. I'd watch quite a bit of it if I knew when and where to look.

must have rained heavily in the night as there are great puddles every where...the ground just isn't taking any more wet and any unflaged areas are just mud and slutch and water running off fields think we are all tired now and ready for some sun and warmer drier days..it seems to have been an awfully long winter and misery all round one of my pots of tulips has just one bit of tulip leaf showing..the others though are coming along slowly as are the daffs..crocus etc am so looking forward to seeing them bloom

Good morning all.
Cloudy day today with the sun trying to peep from behind the clouds. It's not raining.... yet! I do feel so sorry for those people in the flooded areas.
My dad's wheelchair arrived yesterday so now I can take him out and about so he gets some fresh air. Just got to work out how it folds up to get it in and out of the car.

I would like to meet the feckwit who <cough> "overhauled" a large scavenging air fan on my Main Engine last, preferably down a dark alleyway with a piece of 4"x2" timber in my hand... What should have been a routine strip down to change bearings, taking 6 hours maximum, has turned into a 12 hour epic thanks to their use of huge amounts of silicone sealant where none was needed... What a bloody mess we have had to clear up

What a shame. Condolences Mark. It is another example of people only being concerned with their own time and to heck with what happens later on. If they had to come back and clean up their own mess it might be a different story.
The forecast said snow but we have bright sun instead. Good trade off!

Well it's raining here in Chiswick again. Has anyone got any dry weather? Well, we have dry until the temperatures go higher and the snow and ice start to melt. My daughter fell on black ice last night and ended up in the ER with a "light concussion" diagnosed. Of course at several thousand miles away, my weather doesn't effect you at all, and maybe better wet than frozen at that.
