Level off on an even diet (no big extremes) and you'll be comfortable with your meals but not balloon out of sight. That's probably the best idea.
It's been overcast and mild today. Starting tomorrow, we're set to have a rainy rest-of-the-week if the forecasters can be believed. Then, a drop in temps and snow on Saturday. I'll be grocery shopping tomorrow morning to get that over and be out and about in the rain/snow only when I want to.
Cleaning lady and I went ahead and put up the tree today. A new string of lights is now on the grocery list.

Except that my teapot is blue and white, a similar set-up is on my table right now and I am almost finished with a 2nd cuppa. Hope you have a great day.

Wow! A look alike for my Maxx (except smaller I think). He'll have everyone know the Tuxedo is a far superior sub-breed.

dry and chilly off for Christmas dinner of/with our group this evening....[although I don't feel a bit Christmassy] we usually have a good time...though last year one of the ladies burst into tears after a few drinks and said she was ""missing her mother and wanted to see her"" ...tears !!!! .I ask you.....some one said ""well of your mothers comes back your on your own seeing as she died in the 1980s""...that remark and we all including the tearful one exploded into laughter any way it will be best foot forward.....dressed to the max and the smell of Channel and Worth will be overwhelming as it usually is

its blowing a gale outside..the remaining leaves are being shredded of the trees instead of gently falling...
and great joy..1 sparrow and 4 blue tits came to feed about half an hour ago....and obviously hungry the way they were attacking the feeder..making short work of the peanut holder[usually a sign its going to get much colder...we still be keeping a look out though for blackbirds.woodpeckers and nuthatches

Glad your birds have reappeared, mouse.
We had a torrential downpour before daylight this a.m., and now the temps are dropping steadily. I'm in for the day but have to be out and about tomorrow. Not looking forward to that.
Have a lovely dinner!

I was looking at the pictures taken of Kate in the park with Prince George and I wonder if the monarchy is going to fade away as there is no longer a mystery and they seem to want to be perceived as "normal" so why should they get excessive perks because of being born in that family.

Fretslider I agree with you. Hotter today 32C, AC on all day and hiding inside once again that is after I go to exercise classes. I think it will be hard work today. Keep warm everyone.
