Good luck getting where you need to be, Mark.
I believe we have rain coming in.
While I was at work today, older daughter came by and left a large plate of homemade chocolate cookies with mint cream icing. I know this because she called to tell me they might need to be in the fridge over-night to still be fresh tomorrow. Turns out, I don't have to bother. Little daughter and 2 friends came in after school and ate them ALL! In explanation, she said, "I know you don't eat cookies." Welllll ... this is true but .. maybe I'd have tried just one?

what a super lilly.. yesterday was hot and sunny and a delight to every one...went to a garden centre..they hadn't much but got a few plants.. stayed out in the garden for the rest of the day just basking in the sun...my arms and face are turning brown...several shades darker than my legs which look like two sad little white matchsticks today is just a shadowless day NO sun thus far which is disappointing ..do hope that two days is not all we are getting perhaps the sun will shine later...every one seemed so happy and bright in t-shirts etc......gone were the dreary winter clothes and miserable faces

Well, it's blowing a hooley here at Karsto this morning, from the WSW. It's been up to Force 8 overnight; easing down slightly now, but we're going to get a thumping for a while when we sail. Booked for a 1300 departure, destination Antwerp, where it should be warmer. Forecast is for 20C/68F there on Sunday. Presently only 3C/38F with driving rain here.. Oh, and there's still snow on the tops of the nearby hills...

Well the pre-admission was 4 hours long and I had to also do physiotherapy. I'm really flipping tired.

its been cold with a bitter wind...was two days our summer...possibly oh darn......that's not the usual weather for your area is it? another great day of warm breezes, sunshine and blue skies......cruised the aisles of Lowe's and found three plants to bring home.....one is a coleus, one a larkspur and one a delphium?..........always shop the discount area and can get some good bargains on the right day now am going to pan fry some potatoes, add sauerkraut and kielbasa for supper have to add I'm not paying close attention to the labels as both plants are larkspur.......lol

One of my son's favorite meals, Chris. Soon, you're going to have so many plants out there it will be too crowded for your chair! Sugi, I know you're glad that's over. Wishing you a nice rest of the day and weekend. Mouse, I saw an article on Drudge that said our part of the country would be having the coldest spring on record. Can't tell it at this point but there's lots of time between now and June 21st to turn ugly. Hope it doesn't happen, of course. Unless you're a tee-totaler where betting is concerned, don't forget to wager a few Karma Points on the Derby. The trick here is ... wager no more than you're willing to lose and hope to have a big win.

Beth, the sauerkraut meal is going to be great......happy with the results and still debating if I should put some corn in also or leave it alone; also cooking two chicken breasts for a salad and sandwiches
think I'm going to buy more salad stuff as it's getting that time of year to enjoy the cooler meals
