This part of the U. S. is under a tornado warning tonight. I hope it's lifted by morning.
Not the kind of storm I like toi get into, especially when the4y mention the name of my town in the warnings as Alexa did about 7::00 p.m..
I'll take my flashlight and go to bed now. Maybe it will be gone in the morning.

bright sunshine as promised … so a garden day ahead...
alook at the news andany one could think the west in general had a death wish.. perhaps it does... it was announced yesterday that a proffersor from Oxford connected to research into a ccovid19 drug saif yesterday that she hoped that the UK was not first in commining up with a vaccine because it would be seen as a victory and encourage triumphalism...and would diminish the ability to bring the government to book... she obviously is still bitter over coming out of the eu and then losing the general election,, so her petty thinking can only be soothed by researchers not a chieving success,,,,,,truely we are surrounded by an embedded 5 colum……
the anti Brexit mob for they are a mob....are not a happy lot just now as the eu appears to be crumbling infront of our eyes in France little Macaroni.. he of the built up shoes has lost his majority... plus his compatriots are staging protests all over France.. and the vests yellow are back and on form
Frau Merkel is watching her life times work slide into the abyss,, as Germany while not in free fall is pretty near...and the eu is cross with her because she wants them to break their own ruld and support nation states,,,,not a lot of all pulling to gether.. fact is the eu has become deathly quiet.. strange realy for a group who usually are prating a mantra like parrots
and then we come to the discussions between the EU and the UK....and the eu is losing big time as one of our negociaters said yesterday no country could axcept the terms the eu put forward wich were for a defeated nation not a free one Barnier of the eu is now asking the other countries of the eu to let the fishing question go as he finally realises we will not budge from our position,,,,and the only way talks can go on will be if the other eu members drop their fishing demands.. and then talks can go on,,,,,, we have set a time limit now.. either talks move on or we say goodbye and leave wit no deal .. in regard to fishing... I sugest our fisher men sell to the Europeans and we give licence to just Norway.... now that would stick the craw of the Dutch and French... happy dazzzzzzzzzz
the left still have hopes of over throwing Boris.. and using the virus as an excuse... will they wont they lead the dance.. who knows
oh and China tried to threaten Australia who want discussion on the role of China part in this virus.. China is not used to being questioned and had a hissy fit

Captain Thomas Moore who was elevate to the rank of Colnel is too receive a knighthood from the Queen after personally raising some 39 million for the NHS charities....its not for medical or main NHS use.. but for extras ie its all ready bought tablets so covid victims can speak to family face to face via the technology... etc the only other thing now is I suppose is askin the pope to declare him a saint... such are the vagaries of public opinion

The rain seems to still be with us but drizzling now. The forecast sayhs tomorrow will still be chilly and wet, then a better day for Friday and into the weekend.
Our schools are still shut although Trump is trying his best to throw them open to danger. Most parents with children in school in this area have vowed not to vote for him. We are glad to hear that.

it was very hot yesterday but it just suited me today is just so so...cloudy with the promise of thunder and lightning
yesterday in the commons was third meeting of the PM Boris and the new leader of the opposition Kier Starmer…. the last two meet ups at question time Starmer won handsdown.. so this was important and the pm needed to win... Starmer is Barrister used to the cut and thrust of the court room defence/proseqution…. Boris is a journalist and good with words and a turn of phrase.... plus there are only a handful of MPs in Westminster at the moment suffice to say Boris effefectivly Trounced Starmer...so we are beginning to see some calling to account with an opposition who is trying to do its job... after years of the slime corbin lover of terrorists and marx and a most ineffective little man.. 0

this caught my eye.. in a post by Dex """" Sometimes you can't take "fake news" to heart, but you have to learn to recognize the fake from the true.""""
think we should start calling fake news what it actually is,,,, ie deliberate lies....with the intentions of getting the public to believe news which is deliberately untrue to serve a political and personal agenda of either the individual jurnelist or or media owners here we have had a belly full of twisted and untrue stories.... ie lies... and those behind them..... two of the worst are the Guardian and the BBC.....

About half (maybe a little more) of what comes out of Trump's mouth and even more said by his sons are lies. Not just fake … "lies". If you are willing to accept that, you're doing fine.

Sunny 26C here, hottest day of the year so far an maybe the best we will get this year on this gloomy isle called England! Appreciate it, Kronks. From what I hear, when it's nice it's very very nice. This was supposed to be our last chilly day of the holiday weekend. It's our day of the year to take flowers to the gravesites of our family members and friends who have gone on. It used to be called Decoration Day. As far as I know we're going on Sunday - masked. Then spending the rest of the day and Monday with the backyard BBQ. May all of you have a good weekend.

Most schools finished their semesters today. The kids are out for summer vacation so it is up to the parents to keep them safe.
Tomorrow will be a little warmer and warmer still on Saturday and Sunday. Reasonable hot on Monday.
I have spent most of the day reading my book and snacking on cheese&crackers, grapes and mixed fruit.
Must buy groceries tomorrow.
Stay safe and have a nice long weekend.

If you are willing to accept that, you're doing fine. trump is an irelevece to us... in fact the only time America has been mentioned has been the determination not to have any vaccine which comes out of America and certainly to touch nothing that Gates has any dealings with.......what concerns us is the behaviour of the press at the time of national difficulty.... during the period from the leave the eu.. through to the general election its been absolutely blatent and then again since the Virus was an issue.. the ehaviour of some journalists and the media has been an absolute disgrace....and luckily is not just me.. but millions of us are very aware of this situation where they have hyped/twisted and lied...there will be a reckoning at some point... we know who they are and they also know who they are.....we also would like the disbanding of blairs so called supreme court which is nothing more than a collection of pro eu judges who benefit have benifitted from the eu….. its needs to go back to dealing only in law and nothing else...

up late this morning.. have not been sleeping well so I drank my morning cuppa and went back to sleep till daughter woke me with another cup of tea so my day will be rather shorter than ever
mrs next door brought round some cake.. have just had some.. very tasty it was too.. banana chocolate with walnuts .. very moorish
those who live in beauty spots are not having a good time with people going from near and far … trouble is not only are they breaking instructions but are stopping local people for enjoying their areas,, after all what is the point of keeping your area free from the lurgy and then mindless idiots import it.....and of couse these idiots are the type who leave all their litter behand for animals to choke or suffocate on.....yesterday at the Richmond falls a Yorkshire beauty spot was so crowded that one could hardly move......there is a thought that as places like Venice..Rome etc are thinking seriously of limiting the numbers of tourists they will allow in.. and Venice seriously thinking of banning cruise ships disgorging thousands at a time... so smaller areas in various countries are playing with the ideas......cannot continue these masses of people who by sheer weight of numbers spoil an experience for every one I do have to say its been good in the village ..quiet ..peaceful.. rather like going back in time .. and the village web sight has come into its own.. ie so and so has eggs to spare will be left on the step no more than four per household... another one was.. I have flour ring me to tell me how much you want and will mesure out and leave it by the hollybush.. and has any one got a spare bath plug as dog has eaten ours.....

mouse, I love your "Daily Chat" posts. You can almost pick us up and put us there to see what's going on around you and the looks of the Village and surrounding areal. Much appreciated.
We intend to go lay wreaths at 2 different cemataries on Monday. It's a tradition. Our loved ones are in our thoughts, so we feel the need to honor them and let them know how we feel.
High hope people out and about will wear their face masks and treat others as they'd like to be treated.
