Beth thankyou and glad you enjoy... very cloudy ths morning although some small patches of blue..and small bursts of sun...its a bank holiday weekend...looking at the forcast Monday will be the best day
the resurant café where we used to go for breakfast closed down much to our dismay for health reasons and put the business and house up for sale.. ..the house didn't sell and then a couple wanted it bit not the restaurant café part... and then finally they thought they had sold and along cones the virus........any last week they started setting up and delivering afternoon teas again..obviously not at their place but delivered to the step of anyone placing an order so my friend Kate never behind the door when it comes to food... ordered afternoon tea for two for her and husband... and the verdict they gave was very good....so now they have done a tasting test we think we may just order some thing for next week I do so love a proper afternoon tea... many try to provide them and really don't have a clue.. but Judies have always hit the right spot... so that will be some thing to look forward too......its also rumoured she just may also start doing pie and mash evenings .. my cup over floweth...

That all sounds very tasty, mouse. My weekday breakfast is almost always oatmeal and yogurt ... on weekends, we spread it out a little and have bacon or sausages with English muffins and marmalade. My sister and others go with eggs but I dislike eggs so stay with my favorites.
We'll have a few more people over the long weekend, but it will still be facemasks and distancing. Trump is trying to force people to open all the churches but for the most part, the people involved are being cautious.
On my way here this a.m., I saw a couple of good, appropriate photos and shall put copies here sometime today.
Enjoy your weekend. Summer is practically here!

It has been a beautiful day, today. More people out than I have seen for weeks. I certainly hope we do not regret it.
Tonight, we don masks and play rook with our friends next door. Then, tomorrow, we visit the cemetaries and decorate the graves.
Monday, I'll be ready to start a new book but do not know what it's going to be.
Please take care and have a good weekend.

horrible dark and gloomy day... totally overcast so much so I have the light on..however it isn't at all chilly
Beth i enjoyed reading Pillars of the earth.. it was some time ago
the times seems to be flying bye cannot believe its weekend,,,grandaught was due to have come over for i week but even if lockdown is over i think it would be unwise so am urgeing her to stay put there will be other years and of course we all see each other all the time with linkups... met the boy friend he is rather sweet and very shy but exceedingly handsome... she still hasnt heard where she has been acepted[uni] so is a tad n edge about it... but she is not alone so many young people across the globe are ucrtain about their educational plans....grandson is thnking of ending his course i think this beng stuck in digs has put the kibosh on his plans to get a further degree.. luckily Shay and he shared otherwise they would both have been totally isolated
we have an ongoing saga of sheep..... they are constantly getting out of the various fields..and the website being used to find their owners.. when dealing with sheep its fine as they have a colour n their backs indicating who they belong ….but this years lambs .. well there is nothing to say whose they are... so its a bit hit and miss trying to figure out which field they have escaped from..and when the bleat for their mothers and other lambs all in.....its like souls in torment

all hells delight broken out here as Borises advisor it seems broke the lock down...once it may have been a little acceptable but twice is pushing it.. and of course its stired the withers of every anti boris Brexit and government disliker who are all shrieking with delight as they small blood and thoughts of causing problems ….they call for the mans sacking,,,, of course he is not the only one so will they also sack their own transgressors.. and what of public who broke the rules will they also lose their jobs....all interesting stuff

a beautiful day as promised and its also a bank holiday....so twill be an in the garden day...but a little later when it warms up
still much hysteria about Borises aide,,, I begin to wonder if any one can actually read or did read what the rules were on lock down or partcial lockdon,,,still the remainers cannot get it through their heads that we have left the eu….of that they have lost three national votes in a row.....mean while the three government ministers we see the most have to be the worst threesome to represent any government at any time in history...….Gove.. Raab and another one whose names I cannot even mention.... lack luster and devoid of any thing resemb ling personality the pathetic threesome come on tv to give a bulletin of exactly where we are up to every day...… most people know exactly where we are... and its up to 0ur necks in deep do do
meanwhile it seems China is winning the race for producing a vaccine for this virus...and still denying it was anything to do with them... of course no one has asked the question as to why they closed down an entire province which just happened to have not only a wet market but also a research facility..... it would be just too convientent for words that having caused the ruination of many they would then make profit by A/a vaccine and B/using the opportunity to concillidate their holdings in the west and Africa.. too clever by far...as for adfmitting anything.. well like the Japanese face is every thing....

It's a beautiful day! A few little white clouds floating around in a very blue sky and a warm breeze.
My husband and I are taking our daughter and 2 of her cousins on a hike. There are hiking trails about an hour away. We're taking containers for leaves, berries, pine cones and other things the kids might not have seen before so we can study them when we get home. I've packed a light lunch for all of us. We should be back home by the middle of the afternoon.
The local swimming pools usually open on the last weekend of May. Because of the Virus, they are still closed. We're doing the best we can to make it a special day.
Everybody have a good un.

It is actually not too bad since it is raining. Yesterday they couldn’t do credit card transactions for at least an hour. The system had an issue company wide. I’m finally at lunch.

It's been a good day. We had a fine day. Se had a distanced-outing with the kids today, came back and grilled Coney hot dogs with some sides and the big favorite, strawberry cake, for dessert.
Now, rain's coming in and I have a doozey of a headache.
Hope everybody here had a nice holiday weekend and can look forward to many more.

the end is in sight of isolation.. lauable really given the numbers at the coast yesterday.. I would say isolating has already stopped.. all though people do appear to be keeping a little distanence..
looks like we are in for another beautiful day.. its already warm...two tiny lawn daisies dared shown them selves yesterday[the type we used to make daisy chains out of.....how they managed to escape daughter I don't kow…
good job things are getting back to normal...one of the lenses keeps falling out of my glasses because the little skrew has fallen out of the bit that attaches the arm.....I have wrapped masking tape aroud it...and hope this time it holds at least for the day.. it looks odd.. but if it makes the difference tween seeing and not seeing. who cares...so I need the shop to open
and have run out of batteries for my hearing aid...so the sooner they open the clinic better.. though daughter says she will try at the super market next time she goes into town......all I need now wis wood rot in my wooden leg to complete the trio[I don't have a wooden leg[
the village has been on high alert.. it seems while his humans were clapping for the NHS bonnie shot out of the front door and has not been seen since,, Bonnie is a black cat.. the tip of his tail is white.. so quite distinctive.. his humans asked if all would check their sheds and garages....all to no avail.... sightings were mentioned but turned out not to be Bonnie...
