damp and quite darkish....grandson 2 is coming home some time in the next few days....hid friend of schooldays has arrived back from China where he has been teaching English so they want a meet up and will probably drink a keg dry ....[nothing to do with the virus.]. the timing is coincidence
Beth... make the most of BBC changes are coming... they have shown great bias towards the eu and that is apart from being in the pay of the eu… both of which are 100%against the BBC own charter on top of which.. Boris is to speak to the country.. and he is doing so via what ever means but not the usual way of by one media outlet who then passes it on to all the other media..... the BBC in responce to this.. very snottily said they would only broad cast it if it met their standards/guidelines..... oh my word... there is no love lost between BJ and the beeb but how arrogant is it to condescend to a head of government ….. but that is todays BBC against its own charter and having ailienated not only government and paying public and who will be cut off from EU properganda payments[should never have been allowed in the first place].....we all know the BBc has no time for BJ as its very left leaning and right on PC..... this excit from the eu and the recent election has shown the BBC up for what it is,,, the Brussels broadcasting corporation with softness for anything and every thing as long as its anti UK and anti uk cultures and traditions its chairman and head of the BBC resigned earlier this week hope fully many more will follow

I don't think anybody here cares about their politics, mouse. We just like their shows.

Mild and cloudy. Tomorrow is supposed to be warm and sunny. We had about 10 hours of winter yesterday.
Maybe that's it for this year.

I don't think anybody here cares about their politics, mouse. We just like their shows. that's fair enough.,,,,,..but for us its pro islam.. pro terrorist pro eu… and its programes are no longer up to scratch....BBC news does not even broadcast whats going on in France... it doesn't report terrorist activity ie killings and attempts at killing going on al over Europe...like the murders at Strasborg Christmas market.... question time.. the audiences are hand picked and anti eu was always a majority...……. Christmas TV was dire... mostly repeats...…...and then it decides to stop being free to over 75syr ols… oh my word......it dropped its self right in the do do.....and all hell broke lose.. the licence fee is 148-50 per year.. that is a lot for many pensioners to find out of their pension and for some the tv is the main link with the out side world...….. the general feeling don't pay the licence fee...or tell the BBC you don't watch their programes.. they cannot prove otherwise... and given we are aware of what so many who work for the beeb get paid.... and given the government gives the beeb greats wads of money..our money the tax payers money[as the gov has no cash of its own] they can go whistle....I certainly will not be paying this past its sell by organisation a single penny piece

Unseasonably warm, in the 60s F.
Yesterday was Ground Hog Day and the very rare forecast was for an early spring.
We'll see how right it turns out to be.

You could have fooled me. The weather forecast says the temps will fall to the 20s F (below freezing) by the end of the week! That means any precipitation will be snow or ice!
I think Ground Hog Day is a racket.
If Bill Murray is as smart as he seems to be, he probably owns a share of it.

The current forecast says the high on Saturday will be 31. That's pretty chilly for a high temp. Not that I wouldn't like to see an early spring but have to wonder. :)

We're getting a couple of cold days but back into mild weather by the weekend.
I watched the State of the Union address at work. I don't think there was even one of my co-workers who did not feel disgust at the lies about Am. Health Care under Trump. He has bad things planned.
It's a good thing there's more to life than politics.

very cold night yet woke up to sunshine....now its clouded over and getting gloomier daughter has gone shopping and is going be bring me a tub of green olives stuffed with garlic and in seasoned olive oil.. so a can have some thing to nibble my way through the day... yummy we have jakie for the weekend....when he was here Wednesday he disgraced himself by jumping non a chair then onto the kitchen table... where he demolished half a cake daughter had made...the incredible thing is though he wasn't poorly after it.. it was a nut and fig cake.. I thought it would go through him... but no....no ill effects.....
