Sysop....the birds dive down too far away to watch them get their prey...why on earth would you want to shoot such beautiful birds.. any way they are protected species over here very heavy fines.. all the hunting birds from Kestrels..Owls through to Eagles are protected....oh if the Birds were to come down to the labs and one was there then its quite easy to to stop the Birds..... but sheep areas are very large.. and some times nature just has to take care of its self .. betwee Birds..foxes.. wild dogs etc once saw a bunch of Jackdaws fight off and win when a Buzzard was trying to pick one of them off we have an Owl sanctuary a couple of miles away... its open to the public.. they deal with injured Birds of prey and other animals too such as otters weazles beavers etc … a couple of birds they have nurtured back to health and then set free have refused to leave... they fly out during the day but always go back to roost at night
Hoeeible morning really dark.. raining and very cold...at the moment theres no sleet

After a warm weekend we're forecast a cold week is coming up. Real chilly this morning.
Don't know what to expect for March. Easter comes early this year so we hope for a nice day for the kids to dress up and hunt eggs.
Hope everybody here has a nice week.

Sorry you're still sniffling, mouse.
I woke this morning to a song bird trilling away right outside my window ... not just any old, year 'round bird but a song bird. :)
It's cloudy and dreary but the forecast is for the 50s F today and up past 60 tomorrow. It means spring is just around the corner.

Some winter storms are north of us and moving through the great lakes on the way to New England.
Get your groceries and settle in, Toby. You might get a late winter blast for a few days.

Then somebody decided "overdosing" would wear down our systems and make it more likely we would get sick. This could be true but the people I knew came through okay. Now, they work to build up the immune systems instead of fighting the bugs the old fashioned way. That might be the best idea but my kids miss more school.

Sometimes that happens but it usually rights itself within a short while. We've been having a lot of visitors drop in and hang out who want to put up ads for their strange home-made products. Keep your fingers crossed PB gets rid of them before they get rid of us!

Well, I wouldn't mind some very cold weather to discourage the Coronavirus.
Right now it is dark and dreary here but it is not cold.

I would refuse antibiotics most times for my children as I believe in building up a healthy immune system.....a peck of dirt being a good thing...xo they played and climbed and made dens etc.. and they thrived on it.. grandchildren too...touch wood they are a very healthy lot
