A little cooler today and cloudy. No surprise, the Greater Ohio Valley usually gets a smack when hurricanes hit the east coast.
Looks like we can expect a nice quiet weekend until brunch tomorrow.
Might read this afternoon.

Bright and sunny today, too. It is a little cooler, but the forecast has us back in the high 80s by mid-week. We were up late last night visiting with friends, so this afternoon will be for reading and napping.

Beautiful sunny, warm and BUSY day.
I wanted to come in and get something started about the crisis in the U. K., but anything else will have to wait.

if you have a weekend to spare and are in driving distance, come have a great day at our Ren Faire. It will be open all this month and into part of October. I got to costume and work there when I was in high school. It was a lot of fun. See what's going on, when, here www.renfestival.com/

Beth the crisis in the UK has way to go yet..and even whe thought resolved will it actually be resolved the laughable thing is that they think an election will sort things out.. when the reality is its because a result wasn't carried out we are in all this a referendum normally is used as a recommendation a starting point … how ever this last and the one before that in the UK were used as a voting method both by the wording and the implementation of the former one [so its really little use now jumping up and down saying its not legal... when every thing done the last three years has actually been done with the result of the refferender in mind and background ] its a hell of a fight.....27 countries and some of our own who have gone so far as to consult the eu on their next legal moves as you might imagine that is most certainly treason in the eyes of the majoriy of leavers still at long last the little barsteward of a speaker is gone.....he should have been gone years ago.. he has done a deal of damagebut why want an election when they haven't honoured the last time they asked for our opinion.....
all over grey and damp... not a good autum day....

I hope the results come together in a way that benefits the U. K. as a whole. The old saying, "there are none so blind as those who will not see", might apply ... as it does here for various reasons.

I got to costume and work there when I was in high school. It was a lot of fun. See what's going on, when, here www.renfestival.com/We used to go regularly. My younger daughter worked there when she was in high school. Still goes every year. We also loved SCA, which this isn't, though similar. This one is much more commercial and the food is better.
