Hope your month of May is a good'un! ' Thanks for the nice calendar, Sys3. Hope y'all have a good May Day. It's busy here with me trying to keep up with work because I have to and with the political news because it's a big deal today. Warm with sunshine and blue skies.

We are in the midst of a thunder and lightning storm. The first of the season. It is 70 degrees F and forecast to go down to the 60s tonight and for the next 2 or 3 days. Beltane and the lull of 4 or 5 warm months stretching out before us.

grey wet and cold... with snow and frost expected at the weekend errruuuughghggh
news is that both conservatives and labour took an absolute pounding at yesterdays polls... one ousted chap said he didn't understand why people have used the local and country elections as a stick to beat.... as some one else replyed.. the fact you don't understand is exactly why you have been trounced...seems they haven't yet learned their lesson

We had a couple of rain storms last night so it's cooler this morning but supposed to be back into the 70s by this afternoon.
Yesterday, we found a big family of termites trying to move into the corner of our garage. We poured clorox on them and swept them out. Since we really don't know how to deal with pests like that ourselves, I'll call some exterminators after while.
I'm looking forward to the weekend. Hope all of you have a good'un, too.

yes Jessie we are sorry too... its blue shies this morning wut with a bitter wind blowing off the moors.. some clouds banking up too... its a bank holiday weekend so having had a glorious Easter I suppose we have to pay for that
our elected are still moaning about the election results...and it would seem are dreading the eu elections later this month...it appears some had underestimated the anger and rage around the country...with spoiled ballot papers being shown... don't think theres any room for misunderstandings any more

I hope you had a pleasant day in the sun, mouse.
It has been warm here but still a bit too wet from 2 days of rain to go to the country and slog through the garden spots. Give it a little more time, Memorial weekend for sure.
