Hi Mike Marshall, I have seen people who have been dead. There are many photos of ghosts in circulation and not all of them are rigged. My dear lady, I did not say that ghosts did not exist. For what it is worth I have seen ghosts myself. But I have never seen a photograph of a ghost that has not been transparently faked. Certainly the one in this particular thread is obviously fraudulent. Hi Mike Marshall, what makes you so sure?

The spectral snap shows five-year-old Sirus Walsh standing next to a childlike ghost. The family now claims their home is haunted – but insists no one is worried as their spooky visitors are not threatening. ‘My daughter was just taking pictures of her children larking about with her new phone, when she saw that the first photo of her two boys had a halo over both of them,’ said Sirus’s grandmother Julie Smith, 52. ‘She thought, “This isn’t right” and deleted it – and it was when she took the next picture that we noticed Sirus’s little playmate. Ms Smith denies the photo is faked, insisting no one in her family has the technical know-how to mock up a forgery. The body gives off vibrations known as the Aura and people with the gift of secondsight can see what ilnesses that person has. They can be healed by alternative healing such as the laying on of hands. Through the process of Karma, God allows healing to take place if that person has learned the lesson that the ilness that they have was designed to teach them. All karma is exonerated once a person has learned their lesson.

Hi Maggie, In my first post I mispelt your name, sorry about that. Look at the date, Lassie. That thread was a long time ago. I don't think Maggie lives here anymore.

Perhaps the fact that I have SEEN ghosts and lived in a haunted house and therefore have some personal experience. Plus a lifetime of studying the paranormal. I certainly believe that there are things in life beyond our present powers to explain. But I am not prepared to make leaps of faith beyond observation and reasonable deduction from the observed.

Maggie stopped posting here a few years ago due to circumstance in her life I think we were all sorry to see her go if you looking at old threads.. its just as well to get the background by skim reading on from the original postings ....

I have heard that some records when they are played at a certain speed they have a special message that is not normally heard, but someone saying they have seen God is another thing altogether. How did you know it was God?

Hi Mouse, does it really matter? It is the topic that is important in the long run and maybe there is someone like me who is interested also and who hasn't seen it either. It gives them the chance to comment.

Hi Mike Marshall, that is very interesting that you have spent a lifetime studying the paranormal, as a simple person, I just accept what experiences I have and this tells me that this is a strange world and that anything unusual can happen, which means that the physical realm is not as ordinary as we think it, that there is more to it than meets the eye.

I study many things in life. Because I am open-minded I do not jump to conclusions nor do I simply accept any experience as valid without it fulfilling a number of criteria. But when not only have you, your wife and children seen the ghost walking through walls; when a settee on which all four of you are sitting moves through the air of its own volition; when even five years after you have left the home workmen repairing it complain about seeing ghosts and being harrassed by them, it is more irrational to doubt that SOMETHING unusual took place within that house. Whether you choose to call it a ghost or not is a matter of semantics. Even though I am temperamentally a sceptic I cannot doubt the repeated evidence of paranormal activity. Where you and I would probably disagree is over our willingness to assign an explanation to the strange phenomena.
