 The spectral snap shows five-year-old Sirus Walsh standing next to a childlike ghost. The family now claims their home is haunted – but insists no one is worried as their spooky visitors are not threatening. ‘My daughter was just taking pictures of her children larking about with her new phone, when she saw that the first photo of her two boys had a halo over both of them,’ said Sirus’s grandmother Julie Smith, 52. ‘She thought, “This isn’t right” and deleted it – and it was when she took the next picture that we noticed Sirus’s little playmate. Ms Smith denies the photo is faked, insisting no one in her family has the technical know-how to mock up a forgery. The boy looks like he is wearing pyjamas; the furniture looks quite modern.
The "ghost" looks like a younger version of the boy.

It looks anything but credible evidence of ghostly activity to me. I have yet to come across an instance of an alleged photograph of this nature where it has NOT been fairly obvious at once that fraud is involved.

I'm a little more disturbed by the decor in the picture........Is that a sheet behind them, the same color as the floor.....and what the heck is that in the other corner?  !!! Wow......that is all way more scary!! |

I think that is a curtain behind them and the thing in the corner is a scary toy! Perhaps that is really the ghost!?  |

It is surely a hoax but still very compelling. When they use children, it causes people to come closer to accepting their word.

Gosh......wouldn't that stuff sell well.........I hate it when they fix up people to the point it's not even close.......They make models even more skinny and perfect......it is what gives people warped ideas of beauty.

Hi Mike Marshall, I have seen people who have been dead. There are many photos of ghosts in circulation and not all of them are rigged. |

I often wonder how Maggie is doing..such a really pleasant person nice to have around
in regard to the photo herr mouse had taken some photos of son1 with some children belonging to friends whom were staying over... he didn't use all the film..... and because back in the day cameras were not used every day, or even every month and of course not every one had a camera
time passed before he took more shots and then sent off the film for processing when we looked at the photos we realised oh my word we had ghosts on one shoots... actually all that had happened is he had forgotton to wind on the camera and thus one shot had been imposed on the one before so instead giving 5 children instead of 4... for all the world it looked like a ghost .. but it wasn't

What an interesting little thread. Look at the date! I heard from her back and forth in email for awhile .. then, not. The life changes in real time usually affect online use. The last I heard, I think she was talking about moving to France. It's been a while back, I could be wrong. |

I remember they swopped houses and had alterations built to cope |

Hi Mike Marshall, I have seen people who have been dead. There are many photos of ghosts in circulation and not all of them are rigged. My dear lady, I did not say that ghosts did not exist. For what it is worth I have seen ghosts myself. But I have never seen a photograph of a ghost that has not been transparently faked. Certainly the one in this particular thread is obviously fraudulent. |
