An employee is a person and pays NI A company employs employees and pays part of their pension too. A company is not a person. Have you forgiven your precious socialist party yet? Yes but the company it self pays not insurance to bail it out, in particular the banks, yet they have been handed a fortune in bail out money. It is funny how underserved and unwarrantably huge hand out to the wealth are applauded, whilst pathetic payments, which they are fully entitled to, to the jobless etc... are condemned. Just one of many double standards in the country and probably the biggest. The media never talk about this of course. Shows how biased they are, even the supposedly "left wing" BBC, they are just a bunch of over paid toffs. The Labour govt bailed out the banks. Take it up with them. A company pays other taxes as a company; precisely because it is not a person. How many people who are employed by an organisation or company do you know who pay these taxes? Corporation tax Capital Gains tax? Business rates VAT etc How many of them do their tax returns? Here's a handy lookup for you to get started.... www.gov.uk/browse/business/business-tax
