As it is, the theory is still divided publicly, either way, as yet.!!! Are you sure that you want to do that? Lets start with Eckankar. We would begin with things that can be known as true and then begin testing them for some agreement. You've already stated that you cannot do that, what now? Instead you have said that we must believe before we can believe. Now if you accept that I've got some land to sell you in the middle of a swamp.

All theories have to be checked and debated thoroughly, before we are sure enough, then it becomes a reality. I thought we were discussing climate change, whether it is happening or not? As for ECKANKAR, what I intimated was: that as the mind is a very potent tool, it is necessary to have an open mind in order to acquire new enlightenment. If you already believe something strongly enough, you are spoiling your chances of that ever happening. It is commonsense in my book. It has to do with cause and effect. The universe that we live in is finely tuned and reacts to everything that is put into action, there are no mistakes. You have to be genuine, you cannot fool it. That is why it says in the Bible that God cannot be mocked, there is no way that God can be fooled. Whether you believe that God exists or not, the result is the same.!!! From the beginning, I have always thought that anything is possible, I have never swayed from that belief.!!!

Would you rather I say that to me, this guy is presenting a false front. As Fretslider stated he is not a scientist, but rather an activist to whom facts are not important. He wishes something to be true, it isn’t true, so he tries to strengthen his position by taking facts out of context and rewording them to supporting some ‘other’ position. That is dishonest and makes him fair game for being accused as one who is try to create a false position. A past American senator has been touring different countries trying to convince the Authorities that Global warming is inevitable, so in order to find out if that is so, they decided to check. This is responsible behaviour on their part, so did not warrant a belly laugh, in my opinion. I am glad that we have people caring enough to check, they should be lauded for their prompt action. do you mean the one[gore] who has made absolutes fortunes out of man made global warming don't forget when this all started it was said with absolute certainty that it was man made global warming ....and this was grasped upon with all the ferver of the old time preachers... Man was 100% responsible for global warming .. no ifs and no buts ...and by 2028=2020 there would be no more snow.... Everest would not have so much as a snowflake whirling off its peaks and crags and as for Europe all the sking slopes would be nothing more than grass.. and poorlittle children would never see snow ever again how ever as we are now fully aware..and yea even as I sit here I can look out of the window and see a swirling blizzard out side ... and then it came to light that there had been jiggery pokery or if you prefer down right lies and deliberate falsification of scientific papers and it all turned out that there was no man made global warming ....so the the misinformation and lies carried on but leaving the words man made out of it and it became global warming instead.. this way they could keep making money and keep on issuing lies and untruths and have governments jumping to their tune of millions and millions of tax payers monies and governmemts hiking up new taxes to pay to the conmen and liars """so did not warrant a belly laugh,"".... err what belly laugh would that be then ? who mentioned belly laughing .. the term I used was an irony laugh ....very different it appears that some people fail to understand that climates change ... that is the reality.. climates change and have always done so ... from mini ice ages with bonfires and markets on the frozen Thames to growing grapes in fi3lds in Cheshire ... did you actually read the articles posted ? or any of the articles posted in the past ...

errr bridges as apossed to no melting ice or earthquakes ? theres a huge difference between man made structures and out right lies and manipulations of truth a bout global tempretures .. passing off lies as true science that you find life so serious a matter is as i said.. your personal problem and if you cannot see the some what ironic humour of an expensive expedition going out to see how much the ice has melted.. the ice they insist is no longer around ....then getting stuck in what should be non existen ice ... well its a jolly good job we don't all think the same not forgetting the disappearing Penguins.. the Penguins are disappearing due to Global warming .. woe and more woe and guess what.. a good look around and they find more than a million of Penguins .... i love it when fraudsters and conmen get caught out .... they don't like it upem Mr Mainwaring ...[ pronounced Mannering] [from dads army ] It is possible that the scientists who were already there sent out an SOS as the ice was breaking up and the building that they had erected was in danger of sinking due to the ice breaking up because of temperatures warming up. The story was on tv, I remember it now, so it wasn't a fool's expedition, but a mission of mercy. Why conditions changed is anyone's guess. Still nothing to laugh at, as their ship was in danger of being crushed. this is the original article which we are discussing .. etc etc and a very expensive way to be publicly humiliated for giving out false informatiom nothing what so ever to do with the penguins .. which were a later post and yet another example of idiocy and falshoods here is the item for you to read.. it includes real facts The aim of the Australasian Antarctic Expedition, led by Chris Turney of the University of NSW, was to prove the East Antarctic ice sheet is melting. Its website spoke alarmingly of "an increasing body of evidence" showing "melting and collapse from ocean warming". Instead, rescue ships and a helicopter, all belching substantial carbon emissions, have had to be mobilised to pluck those aboard the icebreaker MV Akademik Schokalskiy from their plight, stuck in what appears to be, ironically, record amounts of ice for this time of year. In that lies a hard lesson for those who persistently exaggerate the impact of global warming. www.theaustralian.com.au/opinion/editorials/stuck-on-a-ship-of-cold-fools/news-story/77fb2d5d56974d2f83a30b849ecb87ab?sv=5dd9c8cbe1e12a50b425b1136f972550

I have never pretended I am joking..[if i am in the so called gang who are pretty mean at times] if I am being rude or insulting... its because I mean to be insulting.[and even so am pretty restrained] I give compliments where ... and only where imo they are deserved and they are clearly compliments You seem to do an awful lot of laughing at someone else's expense. I definitely get the impression that you are in gloating mode quite often.!!! People were in danger and you can only laugh at their misfortune. Maybe you need to see a Psychiatrist? what are you twittering on about now ....people scoring own goals especially on the subject of GW is very ironic and yes irony can and does make people laugh and smile... gloating ? what about ive already said it was a laugh at the irony of the situation .. so your are stating tghat Men Fret and my self should all see a shrink because we have a sense of humour ... the fact that you deem humour as being only being used for misfortune and some how transform ironing into gloating .. is as ive said before your problem.. the snow is melting.. there is no ice its disappearing ... presented as fact...... and yet the expedition gets totally stopped by ice....duhhhhhh

It's possible that he was invited, who knows? Apart from that, belching smoke coming from all the chimney stacks, businesses and homes included, besides regular forest fires, certainly cannot be good for the planet. It has got to have a detrimental effect, when all is said and done. Besides perhaps causing global warming, what about the purity of the air that we breathe, that's what I'm concerned about. Icebergs have been reported to be melting and breaking off raising the level of the sea, and you know what that means, land will be inundated with perhaps loss of life.

I have to say, if I were the person in charge of his university, he'd have collected his cards and gone long ago. Turney really has become a laughing stock in scientific circles. And now - through his blind belief in MMGW - he just goes on and on making a complete fool of himself. According to new research co-authored by the University of NSW’s Climate Change Research Centre and published in the journal Antarctic Science, the colony could be wiped out within 20 years unless the sea ice breaks up or the iceberg, with an area of about 2900 square kilometres, moves.
Adélie penguins usually return to the colony where they hatched and try to return to the same mate and nest. Professor Turney said the Cape Denison penguins could face a grim future. “They don’t migrate,” he said. “They’re stuck there. They’re dying.“wattsupwiththat.com/2016/02/13/chris-turney-penguins-dont-migrate-theyre-dying/Stuck? Dying? Turney can only be Professor of ignorance... The distance to which they move varies according to the migration reason, the environmental conditions, and the species. The Adélie penguins of the Ross Sea travel about 13,000-17,600 kilometers annually to their breeding colonies, while some Magellanic penguins (Spheniscus magellanicus) can move about 4,828 kilometers. www.antarctica.gov.au/about-antarctica/wildlife/animals/penguins/adelie-penguinsEven dodgy Wikipedia doesn't make such ludicrous claims... Adélie penguins living in the Ross Sea region in Antarctica migrate an average of about 13,000 kilometres (8,100 mi) during the year as they follow the sun from their breeding colonies to winter foraging grounds and back again.en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ad%C3%A9lie_penguin#MigrationI have no doubt a natural catastrophe like the Cape Denison Iceberg can have a severe local impact, and I’m not surprised that a lot of birds have died, given the abrupt onset of the disaster. But suggesting penguins “don’t migrate” is ridiculous; if that was the case, there would only be one colony in the whole world, or more likely, there wouldn’t be any penguins at all.wattsupwiththat.com/2016/02/13/chris-turney-penguins-dont-migrate-theyre-dying/I understand the ship of fools expedition cost Au $3,000,000 That doesn't include the costs of severely disrupting the (real) science missions going on in Antarctica because resupply ships ended up being diverted to save his pleasure cruise. I can't believe he still gets published! He is evidently a concerned citizen. I think there was a story on tv that the buildings that the Scientists had erected as living quarters and storage was in danger of sliding into the sea, due to the ice breaking up owing to Global warming, so they were getting ready to dismantle them and erect them somewhere else, so apparently warming was taking place. Perhaps this fact was the reason for them going there in the first place. Something must have changed unexpectedly, trapping their ship, which could have been crushed by the ice. Nothing to be laughed at, for sure.!!! It really would help if you bothered to read and understand the post you are replying to. warming was taking placePerhaps you would be good enough to tell UNSW that there are 138 known volcanoes under the ice in Antarctica. wattsupwiththat.com/2017/08/14/scientists-discover-91-volcanoes-below-antarctic-ice-sheet/

Icebergs have been reported to be melting and breaking off raising the level of the sea, and you know what that means, land will be inundated with perhaps loss of life. stop altering the topic ...and is not about what is good for the planet ... that the planet needs a damned good clean is something every one can agree about ...a good clean up of the oceans rivers streams.. grasslands.. cleaner air and less dependence on fossil fuel ...and badly designed cars heating systems etc etc etc but a clean up is a clean up and not global warming man made or not.. not forgetting that volcanops and forrest fires thurst millions of dirt particles into the air and that these are natural events not man made events and not anything which man has any control over at this point in human history as for Icebergs melting .. well they always have melted and the sea levels have always been variable.. in somew places more than others.. but the ebb and flow of climates are easily tracked.. near where I live sea shells are embedded in the rocks[the rocks them selves were part of a coral reef .. and it is also known that warm weather animals were also present in our area as some of their remains have been found fossilised warm cool cold and cold cool warm....it has always happened its nothing new....so we will have to live with it but a good clean up would not come amiss....and for those genuinely concerned about the environment rather than so called global worming ......then get out there and support local and other groups who actually are doing some thing for the environment by doing physical clean-ups ....its amazing how much difference can be made by individuals getting out and cleaning up... one group daughter goes with and they do a couple of days clean up every month.. more if necessary and talking of low lifes about 12 yrs ago a group of us bought a couple of sacks of daffodil bulbs and spent two days in the bitterly cold of that Novemeber planting the said daffodils .. and what a picture they look when they are all in flower...beautiful but we have seen some of the worst examples of lowlifes in action by people who think they have a right to destroy those daffodils ... mother and father standing by doing nothing while their children destroyed at will... one jumping on the flowers and another one swiping with a stick ... when tackled the parents said they don't know what the fuss was about as they were only flowers as so what another time a woman jumped out of her car and went and picked an armful...when takled again she said so what .. whats it matter and a mother with a toddler who was busy taking all the flower heads off.. again the reaction from the parent was not.. sorry it wont happen again...but so what... I live in an area of tourism and visitors .. you wouldn't believe the filth these people leave behind or just toss out of the car window in some beautiful spots .. disgusting low lifes who haven't a clue how to behave in a civilised manner

They will incur karma, with enlightenment it could have been avoided, I am sorry that the person has got themselves into such a predicament. I don't laugh at it, under the disguise of it being funny.!!!
