highly doubtfull given the abundance of animals etc to be seen in the rock paintings of the Sahara not one of them bearing a resemblance to a kanga The Sahara is around 7 million years old. It isn't in Australia! People lived on the edge of the desert thousands of years ago since the end of the last glacial period. The Sahara was then a much wetter place than it is today.Over 30,000 petroglyphs of river animals such as crocodiles survive, with half found in the Tassili n'Ajjer in southeast Algeria. Fossils of dinosaurs, including Afrovenator, Jobaria and Ouranosaurus, have also been found there. It is written that people have seen Nessie coming ashore and stomping around, yet people don"t believe in its authenticity.

I'm not caring whether YOU believe.

Finding that something that is unknow is real, or that something considered as a possibility is a reality, is exciting and for some it is a singular opportunity for self-importance. But for some they can achieve all of that if the mystery is never solved because they can always say they are right.

The animal was seen on land, but if a hoax was perpretated in order to make money, then nobody really lost. People would have a nice day out in scenic surroundings with perhaps a meal and drinks at the local hotel.

If it is a hoax no body really lost? Well whether something is true or not doesn't matter and that is your opinion, so if the truth is not important, what a lesson for young people and that is apparently not important to you. No surprise here, just make up what you want.

I sugest that most people ..are brought up to be honest and ....to on the whole ex-pec t honesty back... however as every one knows and parents warn about.. there are those who are less than honest and usually people are warned that such people exist..but seemingly you don't have problems with a con .. ? were you not also taught to question ....were you not taught how to discriminate and see facts from fiction ..to weigh up what is possible and what is probable from information available just because its a nice little tale is no reason to actually believe some things exists .. there are fairy rings in the grass.. do you believe in fairies as well there is a monster in Lochness and her name is Nellie she has pimples on her chest and hairs upon her belly......................nowadays reffered too as Nessie

I don't know if you are aware but a submercible has been trawling the loch for a good few years now... and so far zilch... other than an acknowledgement that the ripples on the loch can cause a false illusion ...just as in the desert there are also quite common false illusions/mirages of oasises where none exist plus the numbers who visit and or by past the loch and counted in thousands ... so it would be logical to expect some sort of information theres a big difference between liking the idea and actually accepting some thing as being a fact .. one is rational and one is not I personally like the idea of Nessie.. a giant dinosaur swimming in and out from sea to loch and back again.. its the sort of commonality we all enjoy.. its a good tale... but like other good tales until proven it is a tale another tale is how Richard the lionheart was such agood king.. the truth is he was a warrior who used England as his private bank account and was very very rarely actually in England Robin Hood and Maid Marian is another tale made up far beyond what was actually real and actual;ly7 happened

I was broscenery to be an honest person so expect others to also be honest. The animal was seen on land, but if a hoax was perpretated in order to make money, then nobody really lost. Well whether something is true or not doesn't matter and that is your opinion, so if the truth is not important, what a lesson for young people and that is apparently not important to you. No surprise here, just make up what you want. That is really funny.!!! That is exactly what you have all been accusing me of doing since I said that I was a member of ECKANKAR, and now you suggest that I keep on doing it. I have not been making anything up, I have been speaking the truth from the beginning. If you think that I have been making things up then so be it, I evidently can't change anyone's mind. To the present time, people have wondered if The Loch Ness Monster exists. I believe it did exist when it was reported to have been seen, who knows if it is still the case now. People going to the loch with the anticipation of perhaps seeing Nessie is nevertheless a great day out whether Nessie is dead or alive or ever existed. The scenery is probably still lovely and the holiday makers enjoy the day or for however long they are staying. Lighten up.!!!

An excellent post Mouse. I suggest that the points you make go beyond this particular exchange and could be used to represent relationships across the world. Meaning that it often seems that insisting on truths and not simply accepting unproven assertions seems to be one of the major causes of disagreements that exists. The idea of a monster in Loch Ness is a good example. There are many anecdotal tales as to its existence. Some have been proven as misunderstandings, some are proven hoaxes, none have produced viable evidence in support of the existence of this animal. And yet. . . . . . . there are those who absolutely believe in its existence, and some believe it has been proven to exist. Some want it to exist so badly that they will accept anything as proof it exists. Here is an example of rejecting the real world to instead accept a mystical and unproven belief. One could wonder . . . . . . what is it that is apparently missing in some people that they need to replace reality with unproven and mystical events to fulfill their lives. Particularly when the real world, the temporal world, is so alive, so exciting, so full of provable things and events. I have never understood the need to makeup things not real to apparently make some one’s life worth living when the real world has more excitement, more surprises, more things than could ever be made up.

I know for a fact that at least some of what is written in the Bible is true because I have experienced it myself when I was the centurion who guarded St. Paul when he was in prison, that is why I became a Christian. I was also at the place where the Oracle is supposed to be. All this happened in past lives. You and others ofcourse don't believe in reincarnation so you will never have that proof. All you have to do is believe that it is possible with sincerity or it doesn't work, Spirit cannot be fooled.!!! PS: I wouldn't disbelieve you if you told me that you had been conversing with an angel or the Archbishop, either is possible in my estimation.
