Scottish Episcopal Reverend Kelvin Holdsworth has suggested that Anglicans pray for Prince George to be “blessed one day with the love of a fine young gentleman” to make the Church of England more “inclusive”. Or to put it another way, less Christian values? Would you tell people such a thing? It's political activism dressed in a cassock. Gavin Ashenden, former chaplain to the Queen, told the BBC: “To use prayer as a mechanism for wishing this on Prince George is an unkind and destructive thing to do.”
“It doesn’t have the prince’s best interests at heart, but uses him as a gender-political football to please 1.7 per cent of the population. What is especially odd and incongruous is the fact that it is suddenly okay to pray for someone to be gay, but totally unacceptable to pray for them to be free from being gay and to resume a sexuality that was in tune with their biology. This seems not only contradictory but hypocritical”. It is not the first time Rev Ashenden has taken the Scottish minister to task. Earlier this year, Rev Holdsworth allowed passages of the Islamic Quran to be read during a service at St Mary’s Episcopal Cathedral in Glasgow. A young Muslim girl sang Sura 19 which explicitly denies the divinity of Christ and condemns his worship. Ashenden said the incident could be seen as “blasphemy”. its those who do gods will who see homosexuality as a great sin God has a job to do as we all have, our job is not to judge each other as according to the Christian Bible, we are all sinners, so haven't a leg to stand on when it comes to standing in judgment of another sinner.

I don't have to change the narrative to make forbidden practices like homosexuality into acceptable practices like homosexuality.

God is not responsible for destroying Sodom and Gomorrah. These are all natural events. yes I told you that in another thread ... how ever the bible does say that god caused the destruction of soddam and gomorah In primitive times God got blamed for everything. If a volcano erupted then God must be angry with us, thats the kind of thinking that prevailed then. I do know though that people are responsible for what happens to them so they are placed in a certain position where they will be affected by these natural disasters and this is because of their past behaviour. Justice MUST prevail.!!!
