It is cold. We have kept the Garden Center closed over the past few days. I’ve stayed over 40 minutes yesterday and 90 minutes today at work. Christmas was great! My little guy got some toys and he had a blast! I’ve tried to tell him about his great grandma, but he doesn’t quite understand. A coworker called me asking questions about an order from earlier. Each time she called, he thought it was Grandma. 😭 Explaining to a little kid is always tough, but they are more accepting than they will be later on. Good luck with that.

A little snow and single digits again tonight.
Men an tol, I admire your stamina, but I do not believe I would enjoy living that far north. I hope you have wonderful summers.
Best wishes to all through these last few days of 2017.

Best wishes to all through these last few days of 2017. JessieAlan, as I age (although to mature is a kinder word) stamina seems ever thinner. Luckily, as the weather turn colder the snow that came down was light and fluffy. We received about 3 inches and clearing the walks was simple. No snow blower required. It does seen that our (me, my wife, other family, and the dog) time spent with those in the medical field has increased, but such is life. It is a season that hopefully all will enjoy.

I understand you, Men an tol. This is one reason we spend most of our time in-town and let our daughter and children take care of the (small) farm. It is more reassuring to be 10 minutes from a good hospital than 35 minutes away.
Life goes on but at a different pace.

snowing hard.. but i think its too wet to lay ..daughters taken grandson to hospital for more treatment on his eye.. which is still looking nasty......but can only hope it starts to clear up soon...and I hope they are not hindered by the snow as the road they come back on can be lethal ibn the snow..full of steep twists and turns....

It is cold. We may have some freezing rain over the weekend.
Little man is being a threenager at daycare. We are going to have to work on getting him to listen more and to stop hitting. He’s a sweet boy and he gives hugs, but he may have ADHD Hyperactive. I still think it is a little too early to make that kind of judgment, but my mom said that he reminds her of me at that age minus the hitting. I have ADHD Inattentive. I’m on medication, but I’m not comfortable putting him on anything yet. He’s too little.

It didn't work at all with my son and I finally had to take him out and put him with a lady who kept no more than 2 or 3 children in her home and gave them lots of individual attention. Consider changing the situation before you start medicating the child. JMO They seem to settle down some at 4, especially in a setting where there are planned activities.
