We're ;supposed to have cold weather, maybe even snow, over the weekend. From PA on north through New England is going to get the most of it! I remember last year, watching the snow fall in NYC through the Times Square cam ... being glad we're far enough south not to have that kind of snow. Mouse, chicken pox is usually a once in a lifetime experience. This will be one Christmas your grandson will never forget. Dex has the right idea. absolutely.. as I say we are not put out by it.. things happen... one of his eyes is sore and his spots itch...other than that web will be fine.. daughter went shopping we had decided to by pass fowl and have a leg of local lamb.. but all the lamb had gone... so we are having Duck on Christmas day and pork on boxing day.. the cupbords are now filled with goodies galore...and for the rest of the next 4 days its relax and enjoy time.. including out this afternoon for drinks at friends which will be enjoyable

Still down and ill tonight. My doctor says it is sinusitis and has called in a prescription for me which my son will pick up shortly so I can start it tonight. Hoping to bounce back quickly. Merry day-before-Xmas-eve to all. do hope you recover quickly to enjoy the season...and every one else do stay well

Merry day-before-Xmas-eve to all. How about that, I've just picked up penicillin from the chemist for the same condition. I have to take a tablet 3 times per day after meals.

You'll be back on your feet soon. Our doctors rarely prescribe penicillin and let us drag it out with less effective or slower acting meds. I think there's a reason

I’m about to head out to a coworker’s funeral. It is cold. I may stop by my parents house after since it is in the neighborhood.

Cold and rainy today. Could get worse. I have to go out and buy stocking stuffers. I won't be wasting time! There's veg and beef stew cooking in the crock pot.
Jessie and Lassie, best wishes to get well soon. Sinusitis is miserable!
Good luck to your grandson, mouse. He's lucky to have you and his mom to take care of him!

Christmas eve murky but a wind is getting up and clearing the mist and murk away
what isn't done now will stay undone and daughter doesn't want to see a shop for the next 6 mths.. she says its heaving in the nea by town as though food and goodies are going off shelves at an alarming rate... grandson feels much better and doesn't look quite so grey... another quiet da7y and he really should improve.. his appitite is undiminished though.. I think we had forgotton just how much it takes to fill him

Our doctors rarely prescribe penicillin and let us drag it out with less effective or slower acting meds. I think there's a reason Whilst in hospital I was given antibiotics for ages because of the infection in my ear. Apparently it has affected my sinuses as well. The Doctor knows my medical history so has seen fit to prescribe me the penicillin, no doubt because my ear is not completely healed as yet,

We won't attend Midhnight Mass this year. My fever broke this afternoon, but I do not believe I had better risk going from the warm house to the cold outdoors and back, so soon. It is shnowing, not the flurries forecast but big fluffy flakes that are sticking to the grass and trees. If the temperature goes a little colder it will be a full fledged Christmas snow. May you all have a happy holiday, whatever the weather.

Enjoy the day at home, Jessie. Take good care of you.
We've got SNOW! We were on the borderline in forecasts but it's dropped to 23 degrees F, so it's not flurries but real shnow, now.
I had to make a quick run to Walgreen's a little while ago. When I came out ... snow!
Walgreen's was putting up Valentine's Day decor! A group of carolers were singing down the other side of the street.
Surreal!
