Well it's warm tonight and the forecast is for 2 more weeks of warm and sunny. No surprise, October is usually a great month for good weather and outdoor colors. I've known it to snow in October, but that does not happen often.

It has been lovely outside this seekend. All the late summer flowers still in bloom.
We won't mind if it lasts a while longer.

happy its good for you Jessie.. its miserable here raining dark and chilly I gather we are getting the tail ends of your storms.. and its set to last for the next few days according to the forcast although not as windy as predicted

I hope it blows over soon, mouse. Our forecast is for more of the same nice weather, but then there's an alert from the Weather Channel that random storms are possible.
I do like October. It's this part of the country at it's best.

that autumnal shot would have graced photos like you I love autum and its colours another grey day.. not cold though and only a slight wind

a re run of yesterday except no rain as yet have made a start on cleaning out all my draws and intend to also clear out my wardrobes and personal cupboards they really need a de-clutter.. a task which will take me at least a couple of months.. as when having a clear out one always finds something to read etc

From a few years ago. Most of the leavesand foliage were still green but this one gave us quite a show. On the bank of an Ohio River inlet. I agree with mouse, Beth. You should transfer this one to the Members Photos topic. It is a lovely fall photo.

a bright sunny autum morning.. there was a frost last night and its really gone colder its our annual quiz night tomorrow night. when monies are raised for our group its a very popular event as we offer a supper included in the price .. meat and potato pie with pickled cabbage/onion/beetroot or cheese and onion pie..dont know what we are offering for afters this year.. probably apple pie and cream as well as the quiz [winning team get 6bottles of good wine]theres a raffle and the prizes are well worth the £ the raffle tickets cost

grey wet and miserable going out for breakfast around 10ish.. am looking forward to my full English..including home made marmalade with my toast
