Hi Chefmate51, It is a wordly presumption to say that God laughed or even Jesus for that matter. People who only experience the things of this Earth will judge according to their own emotions. Jesus came to save the lost. I will look up the scripture where God does laugh in derision at foolush people. Hi Chefmate51, In one of my spiritual experiences I saw God's face and it was noncommittal. In other words he was just watching me to see how I would behave under the circumstances in which I found myself. I do believe that only when the book of life is opened will God make a judgment, until then God wants everyone to enter Heaven. That is why He/She/It sent Jesus to save those who were lost.

People surmise certain things because of their own worldliness.

Zac the money lender... the wealthy Joseph of Aramathia a man of many parts .. humour is as natural as fingers are

Somebody thought it up, of that I am sure.!!!

To me it's part of Our Lord's human side that he DID show anger, kindness, sorrow and (almost certainly) laughter.

Just because Jesus was a man that doesn't mean to say that He laughed. He was here on a special mission, which required teaching the people, so that would not have needed frivolity. It was still reported to the Vatican that Jesus was not known to laugh and I believe it.

Frankly, laughter teaches many things in life.
It's the people who NEVER laugh or smile who are the real worries.
Fanatics, authoritarians, killjoys - as Nietzsche said in 'Thus Spoke Zarathustra' (and I agree with what he said) 'I should only believe in a God who knew how to laugh.'

Hi Mouse, Jesus was surrounded by loads of people and by word of mouth, the fact that he was never seen to laugh has eventually ended up in the archives at the Vatican. No doubt during Roman times.

Vatican.. is what the original area was called in ancient times when it was nothing more than an area of swamp next to the river.. www.rometravels.com/the_vatican_city.html

So have you SEEN these 'Vatican archives?' What language were they written in? Have they been examined by experts in history? Perhaps you'd like to give us your Vatican 'source' for your statement. Or are you just making the whole thing up out of whole cloth?

It's up to you whether you want to believe me or not.
