It looks like the final nail is finally in the coffin. A tape and video has surfaced in which he clearly reveals himself as a sad, vile misogynist; a jerk. (Watch for it on the news.) He should let Mike Pence run for President in his place. There's no place for this, although it reveals the mentality of too many under-educated men in the U.S. who comprise the core of his support. He literally turns my stomach at this point. An unexpected problem could be that it gives his wife possible good grounds for divorce. Of course he might not care. I don't think there is any way to get him out of this one.

To be honest...much like JFK or Bill Clinton....or the majority of senators or congressmen. Yes, there is no excuse but look at Hillary and her baggage....I'll still not vote for another Clinton, one in the white house was enough. No - I'm sorry. This man is unacceptable and should be forced to yield to someone else. It's not like JFK or Bill. He's absolutely disgusting and unredeemable at this point. placing a cigar up someone's hoo-hoo whom you are not married to is pretty disgusting....adultery is adultery, none is acceptable. Hillery can't explain her email server, six billion dollars missing on top of Bengazi so she is a terrible candidate....there is no good candidate.

Hi Chefmate51, I don't know too much about Hillary Clinton, but she has to be an improvement on Donald Trump, he is utterly disgusting, he makes my skin crawl.!!! both of them are lower than pond scum...a good indication of how far America has slid in decay.

Maybe so, Chef. I don't see Donald going anywhere from here. I guess he could drop out and let Pence try to recover but the big sector of voters that could put Trump over the top won't vote for Pence. They just won't vote at all.
We can yell and whine the whole time Hillary is POTUS or we can hope for the best and at least try not to make it worse than it has to be.

I don't know if Trumps comments will do him too much damage, not the one's I heard anyway as they are pretty much what people would expect him to say, more a case of confirming what people already thing. They certainly won't help him though, that is for sure and that is not good as he is playing catch up. Needs to do well in the debate, as unlikely as that will be. You're right about that. I wouldn't be surprised if he tried to get excused from the debate somehow or other. I guess he could come down with pneumonia.

Hi Chefmate51, They do say that people learn with practice, so hope Hillary has had sufficient practice to enable her to do a good job as President. There is no hope for Donald Trump, he seems to be a slow learner, for sure.!!!

Kinda one sided with the pot calling the kettle black but only my opinion. If you think I'm going off track, I'll stop.

No, no moderating tonight. Just sayin'. You're trying to loop things back toHillary and get the conversations off Trump every other post. Just in case you didn't know it was obvious.

There doesn’t seem to be any good choices for President within the United States, and those who dislike either candidate seem to revel in the opportunity to speak ill of them. That is okay as we have had other presidential campaigns that were nearly as distasteful and just as full of vitriol.
Both of these candidates make it easy to pile on with merciless verbal abuse, but I wonder, is that a worthy act or is such directed at the wrong place. May I suggest that as James Madison offered, to make our large republic work we require a knowledgeable and virtuous people and (may I add) an involved people.
Watching those interviewed by the media it would seem that knowledge is being replaced with raw desire and a lack of a historical perspective at the very least. Involvement is increasingly being set aside so that demonstrations and riots are increasingly the rule of the day. Virtue is outside the ken of the people with the attitude of ‘what can I get away with’ becoming dominate.
In such a world are we not getting the candidates that we deserve? If we had an involved people, these candidates would never have made it through the primaries.
Isn’t it more the fact that these candidates reflect the people?
Personally I really do not care what the rest of the world thinks of this election cycle as they demonstrate even less virtue than is demonstrated in the United States. One of the real possibilities resulting from this election is the further reduction of the United States military, maybe to the point that paroling the high seas becomes a thing of the past and withdrawal of military installations back to within the borders of the United States and the ending of United States funding of things in other countries. An interesting world that would be.

It's interesting how Trump says over the "hot mike" (terrible term, considering the context) that he was prepared and ready to commit adultery -despite the fact that he was just married - and is now readying to go after Bill Clinton for his behavior (which was similar to Trump's.)

It's interesting how Trump says over the "hot mike" (terrible term, considering the context) that he was prepared and ready to commit adultery -despite the fact that he was just married - and is now readying to go after Bill Clinton for his behavior (which was similar to Trump's.) Ariel stated, “It's interesting how Trump says over the "hot mike" (terrible term, considering the context) that he was prepared and ready to commit adultery -despite the fact that he was just married - and is now readying to go after Bill Clinton for his behavior (which was similar to Trump's.)” Ariel, I believe I understand the desire to connect Donald Trump to Bill Clinton, possibly as an attempt to demonstrate that they are equal in their approach to women, but nothing could be farther from the truth of the acts of these two men. Although this doesn’t excuse the words of Donald Trump but what he said was within the context of a certain amount of braggadocio of some men talking to other men, puffing their chest (relative to each other) but not having actually carried through with the acts described. Bill Clinton is quite different as a lifelong womanizer who did carry through many times, and taking advantage of a young (at the time) woman who was under his power (as an employer) and having used his position to entice others into his bed and even having been accused of rape by at least one of them. Then lying to Congress about questions relative to these acts. Then to minimize what he had done, he (and Hillary Clinton) demeaned these women as being liars, even to the point of referring to at least some them as trailer park trash susceptible to people trolling through the trailer parks to get these ‘low class’ women. There is no comparison between these two men in anyway. I personally place Donald Trump more in the class of being a blowhard and braggart about things that may never have happened. While not laudable, this is not uncommon among certain male environments where other men do not accept such words as more than unrealized bragging. But this type of thing is not unique to men, as women also (in environments entirely female) will sometimes have their own version of this type of talk. This is an opportunity for those who support Hillary Clinton to try to knock down Donald Trump in the face of the acts of Hillary Clinton for which there is not excuse other than a striving for power.
