Somehow, and I thought this as soon as it hit the news, that it was none other than Trump himself who leaked that tax return to The New York Times.

Trump Angers Some With Suggestion That Vets With PTSD Are Weak Donald Trump is drawing scorn from veterans' groups after he suggested that soldiers who suffer from mental health issues might not be as strong as those who don't. Trump was speaking at an event organized by the Retired American Warriors political action committee Monday when he was asked about his commitment to faith-based programs aimed at preventing suicides and helping soldiers suffering from posttraumatic stress disorder, traumatic brain injury and other issues. "When you talk about the mental health problems — when people come back from war and combat, and they see things that maybe a lot of the folks in this room have seen many times over, and you're strong and you can handle it. But a lot of people can't handle it," he said. "And they see horror stories. They see events that you couldn't see in a movie, nobody would believe it," he added. The comment drew condemnation from critics as well as veterans' groups that have been working for years to reduce the stigma associated with mental health issues in an effort to encourage soldiers to seek treatment. David Maulsby, the executive director of the Texas-based PTSD Foundation of America, told The Associated Press that, at first, he hoped Trump's remarks had been taken out of context. But after watching a recording of the exchange, he said the Republican nominee's words were detrimental to veterans struggling with PTSD symptoms. "At the very least, it's a very poor choice of words. PTSD is basically a rewiring of the brain as the result of trauma or prolonged trauma. That is not a reflection of a person's strength, character, stamina — any of that," Maulsby said. "Our veterans who are struggling with post-traumatic stress as a result of their combat need to be encouraged to seek help, and not be told they are weak or deficient in character in any way, shape or form," he said. Zach Iscol, a Marine veteran and executive director of the nonprofit Headstrong Project, which helps provide free care for veterans suffering from PTSD, said Trump's comments weren't "just wrong, they're dangerous." "The biggest barrier we have to people getting help is the stigma of getting help," he said. "It just shows a complete misunderstanding of what post-traumatic stress disorder is." Retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, a top Trump adviser, responded with a statement that accused the media of taking the GOP nominee's words out of context "to deceive voters and veterans." Flynn said Trump has been highlighting the challenges veterans face when returning home and "has always respected the service and sacrifice of our military men and women." Trump has vowed to make improving veterans' mental health services a top priority if he makes it to the White House. Trump previously angered veterans when he suggested that Sen. John McCain, a former POW, was only considered a war hero because he was captured. www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/trump-angers-with-suggestion-that-vets-with-ptsd-are-weak/ar-BBwXHeL?li=BBmkt5R&ocid=spartandhp

Wouldn't surprise me except I'd think his handlers might have originated the idea. In the same way, the master plan would have probably come from his accountants and tax specialists. He's been too involved with show biz to work at financial plotting and planning, I'd think.

hardly old fashioned at all...the double standards exist and its certainly old fashioned hypocracy to pretend otherwise the fact that hands go up in horror at Trumps words is as much hypocracy as the Victorians covering up table legs but the fact that people are turning away from Trump is looking in from the outside to Americas benefit he would be a disaster waiting to happen I do see what she means, Mouse. Trump has a sort of "old boy's club" attitude toward women. Not all men think that way. In fact, the number who do is less and less all the time. I too see what she means...and of course not all men....but a great many men do still think that way.. the visual sex trade is very very profitable and tells its own story...

lies told about taxes etc are quite different from arrogant mysogeny and chauvinism and treatment of wives and women..all he is guilty of is being a big mouth man with money..and NOT watching what he says..or if preferred he is guilty of getting found out......and that's the hypocracy and where the hypocracy comes in my original opinion of him and his behaviour hasn't changed if anything it is lower than it was .... the fact he is even standing for president is an indictment on the existing political elite Both Trump and Clinton are too old to be President. We have had 3 younger Presidents in a row, now, Clinton, Bush and Obama. The atmosphere and turn of thought are apt to be entirely different with either of the two running now. I predict whoever wins will only serve one term. agree with you ..that the candidates are long in the tooth...though I don't think age is necessarily a bad thing..it depends on the person rather than the years both of them are rather elderly in the way they present them selves though ..

I feel it is going to be a big change for the American people.
Aside from the racists and hard line conservatives, I believe they will miss the Obamas and especially John Kerry as Sec of State. I wonder whether Hillary would keep Kerry if she should win. I wonder if he would accept. That must be a very stressful job.

Perhaps, but Playboy no longer features nudes, and other of the "men's magazines" have gone out of business.

He may have mailed it in at 3am one morning while he was "brainstorming."

And once you factor in the Electoral College, his chances are reduced to almost zero (barring something catastrophic for her.)

One or two pollsters seem to favour Trump, LA Times is one of those, Rasmussen Reports the other, they see to be way out of line with the other pollsters, other there is a 10 point difference! I suspect they have got it very wrong. However it may come down to specifically what the poll asked, different pollsters use different method rules/assumptions.
