Hi Sysop3, I have learned so much since conversing on the different forums, I have been shocked by what has been said, I have been shocked by how badly members have treated each other. I really thought that getting to know people on the Internet would have been an enjoyable experience. Instead I find that some people can be quite cruel to each other. Vulnerable young people have been so devastated that they have committed suicide. This should not be allowed to happen that's for sure.!!! Anyway it certainly is an eye opener for me as it does let you know that life is not a bed of roses, even though I rather tend to see people in a good light untill I find out different. To each his/her own, I guess.

neither open mind nor closed mind...and as cheffy pointed out quite rightly..WHY are these people bringing it out into the public domain.. ?I sujest its because they wish to have their views validated....accepted having an open mind is when we know about such things but we don't have to comitt either for or against but once in the public arena then a stance has to be taken "a stance has to be taken". Not really. There are a lot of lifestyles that I do not feel I have to take a stance on. Simply because you are aware of something does not mean you have to publicly agree or disagree with it. Its knowledge, nothing wrong with that. """but once in the public arena then a stance has to be taken"""one has to decide where one stands..that is a stance and deciding where one stands on such issues is some thing we all do..for..against or neither care enough one way or the others but my question remains..why are these people making their practise public ? are they seeking validation??

I don't think that has anything to do with the subject at hand. This thread was not started anticipating anger. Did you read the whole article? I edited one of your posts that was too far over the top and actually offended me. I did email Beth first and read it to her. She said just moderate it to take that lined out part out and leave the rest, so that's what I did. That was the only thing I've seen here that was down and dirty. I gather you meant the perverted husband of the women we knew.... I certainly didn't post it to be down and dirty or titillating in any way in any way....i was commenting on the only person I have ever known be into adult breast feeding... and agenda ? ..that's usually a political ploy as for anger..what anger one can post without being in any way angry about the subject..no anger as far as I am concerned as for the lines they just appeared..they were nothing to do with me

You know which lines I deleted. Good again if you were not suggesting the people who were interviewed did not have an agenda for telling their story. I must have misunderstood.

You're fine, Lassie. sometimes people will complain about TML but if you notice, they keep coming back for more.

I would never find such a thing appealing, but do not understand why anyone would want to "take a stance". In matters political .. or criminal ... or immoral (thinking rape or child molestation) I would certainly take a stand, but it is not my place to object or grumble about the intimate relationships of others. I imagine RS printed the story because it was something different they thought might interest some of their readers. Probably the same reason Beth put it up here. If you have an idea for a different subject for Deep Thought, I'm sure Beth and Fret would encourage you to start a thread for it and move along.
