Hi Chefmate, why be so mean, surely things can't be that bad. I personally think that she will do a good job as President, give her a chance. I trust her.!!!
I would trust the devil quicker as I already know his tricks....she is not a ggod choice. Our first black president has been a disaster and this one will be worse. Carry on ladies.
SORRY Beth,It looks like I either missed your post or just forgot. I'll try to remember. I'm not a person that will deliberately rock the boat. The cartoons are great.!!!

I'll try to remember to work in a comments section. If you don't see it in at least a couple of days, give me a nudge in PM and I'll make it so.
in regard to cartoons...and your remark cartoons are supposed to be funny....actually they are not just for fun in fact the Leonardo cartoon at the national gallery is of st Mary and st Anne with their children Jesus and Jhon the Baptist...a cartoon.... a cartoon is simply another way of expressing ones self neither painting or sketch

Lots of "truth stretching" going on toward Hillary, which isn't unusual coming from the opposition.
Might try to have a look at what's what, later. In the mean time, always consider the source. Who publishes is just as important as what they publish.

It was either out of foolish indifference or plain foolishness, but it has created a terrible moment for his wife and the Democrats, and for President Obama and perceptions of the integrity of his administration. Clinton’s private, unplanned meeting with Attorney General Loretta E. Lynch at the Phoenix airport last week, coming at a time when the Justice Department should be nearing completion of its examination of Hillary Clinton’s use of a private server for her emails as secretary of state, will inevitably — and negatively — affect public attitudes about that investigation. For a politician long praised for his political smarts, it was a striking error of judgment on Clinton’s part to walk to Lynch’s plane for any kind of conversation. It was a similarly huge lapse on the part of the attorney general, who was appointed by Clinton as a U.S. attorney in 1999, to allow him to come aboard for any kind of conversation." So.......Bill had a one on one meeting with the person leading the investigation of his wife while she is running for President........and none of the news agencies seemed to say a word about it............why???

It wasn't meant as agreement, Chef. I just re-routed the post to get it out of the Poli-cartoon topic.

Drudge has been shrieking about this and posting links to other, similar, stories for days. Bubba botched it.

I don't think it will amount to much. My Dad has said all along that there was nothing much too all the accusations. That it is mostly the Republican machine trying to throw up barriers to her presidential bid. He says she will win in spite of all that. Me? I wouldn't risk a bet on the election. It's hard to tell what might happen between now and November.

That's the way I am when it comes to crime stories. I'll run into them sometimes and post them as human interest, but don't really like reading or discussing them. Politics, on the other hand, draws me like a manet.

I'm sick of all of them. I'm sick of a system where all I hear is "this side" blames "that side".....where they have committee after committee to investigate "that committee" Where they spend the majority of their time blaming each other rather than actually getting anything done for us. Where they stopped listening to what we want. Where they believe they are above the people that put them in office. I'm sick of shady deals. I'm sick of them not listening. I'm sick of the waste of our tax dollars for their benefit or their pet projects that don't help us. I'm sick of their waste of our tax dollars for stupid, idiotic things that have no oversight.
The system is broken and beyond corrupt and there is not a light at the end of the tunnel.

I'll exclude Bernie from that as I do believe he's an honest man who cares about the people in this country. Almost all the rest direct their actions and efforts to doing just enough for their constituents to get voted back in, and the rest is to bump up their own prestige or line their pockets. People have been watching this for a long time. Finally, we got to the point that we are refusing to play that game with them.
