wet again...the weather held off most of the time yesterday and we had great trip even though when waiting at the gate for transport..friend drove right on by...lol...came back for me...4of the trip didn't make it..seems they got into the car went a hundred yards or so and the car stopped dead and refused to be revived...[its only 3mths old too]and by the time they had finished messing about it was too late to change cars to drive to our starting off place but the rest of us had a good giggle and fun day and the views were fantastic I was a little sore as had fallen in the kitchen thursday night...luckily nothing broken[thought I had broken my hip at first]...so although one side of me is turning purple..am still in one piece Sorry about the fall and sending wishes for a quick recovery. Glad the trip went well. Mouse, you're very fortunate to have close friends for a get-together like that. The only time we seem to be able to do itt here is in conjunction with ballgames or other events on campus where several of us are aluimni. It isn't a matter of finding time ... it comes down to making time. we are all retired but one[who I doubt will ever retire] which does make it easier...and of course still being alive also helps..though our numbers do and have diminished over time will get round to putting up some photos..when I can.. .but yes I and them know we are lucky to have good friendships and the ability to go here and there as we choose my left side is now very colourfully bruised...but hidden and not showing so I can get away without daughter knowing the weather is bright sunshine,,after a light frost last night

The light frost probably means more colorful foliage. It's a little cooler today after a day of rain yesterday. I went out with my various family members for breakfast (tradition, most Sundays) and enjoyed that. Having a fairly large extended family does mean there are people around most of the time.

We have had a nice fall day. It has been a little chilly but comfortable. The leaves have turned from green to autumn colors overnight. Not all of them of course but there is finally a variety.
I am going to try to get a picture or 2 for the garden thread this week.

We here in cheerful Chiswick are enjoying some nice sunny days. I had loads of green tomatoes left on my plants so I spent yesterday afternoon making chutney. My grandson is delighted, he say he can take cheese and chutney sarnies to work for the next 6 months.

Oh! I love that one Who. Too much work this past day to have had time to look in a lot.
My daughter-in-law loves dolphins. If you don't mind, I'll send her a copy in email.
Almost time for me to say good night. Maybe Jessie will show up here tomorrow, maybe Maggie, maybe Chef, maybe Sug ... maybe some of the guys. The Daily looks lonely today. Mouse is away until Friday, if I'm not mistaken.
We're having some autumn ... nice cool nights and warm days. I guess we'd better enjoy it while we can.
Have a good Thursday, everyone. The week is flying by.
