Mods feel free to slap down/quaterise/move to a better board but I think I've spotted a gap in the market; Today I Am Mostly Listenin' To... This is inspired by The Fast Show's "Jesse" who emerged from his shed to say he had mostly been eatin' whatever but which later expanded into fields other than his diet:- www.bbc.co.uk/comedy/fastshow/characters/jesse.shtmlIt doesn't mean you have to listen to the same track over and over all day (Jeez! How tedious?!), it's mainly a means of further expressing one's position (like the Three Word Day thread) or inspiration or mood. For example, when I think of today I could say, "Today I have mostly been listening to Pictures Of Matchstick Men by the 'Quo:-" Not necessarily because I'm a die-hard 'Quo fan (if a 'Quo fan at all) but mainly because I watched MiB3 and it's in there (the Andy Warhol scene) and it stuck in my head and I've been playing the opening riff on my in-head air guitar all day. Because, let's face it, I've no clue how to play a real guitar, period! So, what have you been mostly listenin' to today (one rule: everyone else gets to hear it, so I guess it's another Youtube thread)? If going for a cover version, why that band/version? Could this be another century-plus-page thread full of the meaning of life, experience, emotion and unifying bangin' tunes...? Over to you, the members....

I'll toss in one for today because the score for Jersey Boys was the dvd left in the car player and I just let it play.

Toerag at work keeps playing it in the car going to and from the office. It's irritating as scabies but catchy as all hell. Try not to dwell on the lyrics, though.
Might have to nobble the bluetooth function in that motor. Or take the keys off of the bugger!

He's Italian in arrogance and driving style, he's responsible for the complete mess I've spent the last six weeks trying to sort out - most of it very much "schoolboy errors," and he has no internal monologue which means he irritates the living s**t out of everyone. "Shut the f*** up, Stefano," is the most heard phrase per day in this office since the change-over of personnel last week. Then there's the Bostonian who just won't stop whining... I can't wait to get back to sea!

It's back! Today I is mostly listen' to:- Mainly because the CD is stuck in the car player and also because I'm not really a Dylan fan but like this cover-version-on-amphetamines (like The Mission were at pretty much every performance back in the day!) version.

These are five great songs I've been playing a lot lately:
Jessie J - Casualty of Love
Jodie Connor- 'Good Times' and 'Now or Never'
Giggs and Skepta - Look Out
Ed Sheeran - You Need Me, I Don't Need You
Lana del Rey vs Cedric Gervais - Summertime Sadness

It might surprise you but this is one of the play lists I listen to driving or just relaxing. Always have liked ambiant music second only to rock.
