My 2nd favourite song by Queen.
I just love the soundtrack. The movie had a great premise but..Russell Mulcahy was a better director of music videos than he was of movies.
He directed the great 80's videos of Duran Duran. You can see his vision at the end of the movie when all the windows behind the Highlander blow out.
Enjoy.

So I'm back to the great soundtrack to The Highlander.
This is live at Wembley in '86. Geez, I wish I'd been there.

The last of my trilogy from The Highlander that I'll post tonight. Damn Fred was good. The group was just great. And I love the soundtrack to The Highlander. In case I haven't said that before.

You'll be needing this one. I'm not going to use live performance because the video has cuts from the movie and, besides which, I really like this vid.

Weren't they just amazing? They could play anything...rock, jazz, big band, opera, blues, heavy metal... anything. And I love how Brian May goes so against the rocker "type." He's highly educated, an accomplished astrophysicist, and the Chancellor of a University. I know they carried on later with Paul Rodgers, and there was rumor that Adam Lambert would join them (don't really see that happening though, and wouldn't want to either). But, there will never be another Freddie Mercury. He was a unique individual to say the least. Love my Freddie. ;D I've always liked this video and song from him.... I have the DVD of the Wembley '86 concert, and it's pretty well worn. This is one of my favorite clips from that show. Just Queen and a few thousand friends.

All great choices. fret, there you go, you found another one I've never heard. beth and MM, great stuff.
It's great when other people post. I often hear songs I've never heard before, or versions of songs, or videos.
Another one of my faves.
Filmed during a recording session. (Not sure if that's true but it works for me).
