I subscribe to Vanity Fair. Sometimes read almost all of it - sometimes browse - depending on the content for a particular month. Some of them are so good thay are keepers. We also get Cincinnati magazine. As one of the larger cities near us, we like to keep up with events, activities and good restaurants. This is a good online mag. www.wowowow.com/

Is it all political, fret? I think I've seen that one - probably in a waiting room somewhere or other. A lot of magazines are hurting for certain right now.

It was started by Peter Cook (as in Peter Cook and Dudley Moore). They get stories long before the mainstream press do. And the satire is hilarious.

I really just don't read too many magazines......except in line when I am checking out at the grocery store.......then it is always Angelina cheated on Brad.....Brad storms out on Angelina.....then the next one.....Romantic weekend pics of Brad and Angelina........
If you had one of those annoying but really cute kids at your door, doing a fundraiser and you were going to order a magazine from them.........what would it be?

Sadie, Vanity Fair and Time are my favorites. If I really wanted to help a kid - Rolling Stone, Entertainment Weekly, maybe Glamour for my teen who loves the clothes. I really like Newsweek, but in their struggle to survive, they have run the price up too high compared with similar mags. Oh and maybe Southern Living for the recipes .

Oh I never think of Southern Living......there are some great recipes in there....... Oh, there are LOTS of them and many not very health conscious - just yummy and pretty. Southern to the core. I also like Wired and PC World. Used to read the print versions but now just read them online.
