As I mentioned, Blair had so many years when he could have reinstated the apprenticeship system and given cash assistance to firms, he did nothing though except sending Squaddies half-equipped to fight in the useless wars. All these years later and STILL NO WMD Discovered and never any prosecution for lying either !! Of courze, Blair used the 'university' system to disguise the unemployment figures. |

Blair wanted an excuse to promote Mass Immigration so he needed low unemployment figures.
Lots of young Britis went to do useless Uni course at jumped up colleges which were renamed ,"University", but if he had used what little intelligence he had then he should have steered the mechanically gifted to do Apprenticeships and the UK would have been much better off having more Engineers, Tradesmen, Craftsmen etc. instead of Media Studies Graduates !
