UK Wind Week: Fossil Fuels To The Rescue

With an impeccable sense of timing, some bright spark decided to make this UK Wind Week.

Perhaps they should have called it UK NO Wind Week!





Sat under an anticyclone, Britain’s contribution from wind power since yesterday has been less than 1GW, around 2% of the total electricity generated. This situation is expected to last a few more days yet.

As ever, it is fossil fuels which have come to the rescue, with gas currently supplying 60% of the nation’s power, and even coal, which has been fired up to give 7%.

Indeed, in the last day we have had more power from coal than from wind.

Thirteen years ago, the Labour government promised us that wind power could be powering every home by this year. (I wonder where I have heard that lately!)

Plenty of ,'could', 'might', 'maybe', etc. It's a pity that dummies like Hutton were not forced to put their mortgage behind their fatuous words !
In the USA Joe Bidet promised his green new deal, no more Oil or Gas and certainly no more Coal! just wind power and maybe Nuclear.
NUCLEAR, !!! I hear you say, yes folks Nuclear is a possibility because it does not pollute.

Yes, I'm well aware of Moore's reputation, but the road to Damascus is long and the conversion can come at any time.


Michael Moore is worried about Earth, although he's not focused on fossil fuel and cow farts. Instead, he's worried because he just discovered that green energy is a scam. That's the point in his new documentary, Planet of the Humans

You can imagine the opprobrium he received for this film.

Needless to say, the attempt to take it down failed. Moore is now a traitor. Or more accurately, an heretic.

I watched Moores film and it was very interesting too and I am not surprised that the climate change frauds wanted it taken down.
It does seem that Moore did have a Pauline conversion, I saw a clip where he was supporting Donald Trump !
