The Fascists who run the climate change scam seem to have got their way, the government says that no new petrol/diesel cars will be allowed to be sold in the UK starting 2030. (I see no mention of Motorcycles though). What will the voters say ? that is the major question.

Firstly, the voters will not have a say. The climate change act was in no party manifesto and it has never been put to the people. It never will be. (See what I mean about the parliamentary dictatorship?) As usual they haven't thought it through. Currently, EVs are subsidised and do not pay VAT and tax on fuel or Vehicle Excise Duty (VED). You can apply VED, but the fuel taxes are lost and reckoned to be in the region of £40billion. As I have been saying for years, the government would have little choice but to go for road charges to replace the lost fuel tax once EVs took over.
It was always inconceivable that electricity could be taxed in the same way, as it would generate massive energy poverty and would obviously discriminate against poorer non-car households.
Equally to raise £40bn from other taxes would be political suicide.notalotofpeopleknowthat.wordpress.com/2020/11/16/road-charging-moves-closer/At this rate they'll be reinventing the turnpike.

As they close down gas and coal stations and rely more on wind it gets worse. Add to current demand a whole load of electric vehicles and the system will fall over. Smart meters will be working overtime turning people on and off to lower the load.

What if you live in a flat or terraced house, where do you charge your car. Joe Bidet already promised to lay millions of miles of cable to install charging points but that means Millions of Miles of Road being dug up unless they put the cables up on poles, imagine the cost ? where will the electricity come from ? they don't want nuclear and Bidet wants to stop fracking and do away with Oil and Gas. Why is it that the Japs are going down the Hydrogen route also the Japs are developing ultra lean burn, ultra economical vehicles that can get 100 mpg, that seems the way forward not electric unless you have a Milk Float ! The one advantage the UK has is that there are still Billions of tons of coal underground so why not round up all the Immigrants and give them a Davy Lamp and a pick and shovel and send them down the pits. (after the water is first pumped out). There are technologies to burn coal in a clean manner, I have worked with such equipment and it does work !

Still want an Electric Car Model 3 crash The Model 3 was going faster than 100 mph when it ran off the road and into a power pole, the police said. City of Corvallis Police Department A Tesla Model 3 crashed on Tuesday in Corvallis, Oregon, flinging hot battery cells far from the crash site. Two cells broke through nearby windows — one landed in someone's lap, while the other landed on a bed and caught the sheets on fire, the police said. The Corvallis Police Department said the driver was going over 100 mph and sustained only minor injuries. Tesla has caught heat in the past for its battery packs bursting into flames, but a crash on Tuesday in Corvallis, Oregon, suggests that the electric vehicles might pose a fire hazard not just to themselves but to the surrounding environment. The speeding Model 3 hit a power pole, shearing the pole at its base and hurling bits of the car far from the crash site, the Corvallis Police Department said in a statement on Facebook. The Model 3 was obliterated, and its battery pack was destroyed, flinging burning-hot battery cells around the neighborhood. Dutch Firefighters will Not try to extinguish burning electric cars due to fear of electrocution, one Dutch person has already died by being trapped in his crashed Tesla with Firefighters watching him roast to death.

mouse. ""we have enough coal to last around three hundred years according to those who know about things,,,, and it is reckoned that that is NOT an over estimation"" Quite true, I heard 300 years was a Low estimation, they know that coal seams go far out under the North Sea, when I was a lad we used to go gathering seacoal from the beach at Redcar, sometimes it was a 2 or 3 inches thick layer on top of the sand so we let it dry out and then pour it into cones made from Newspapers and place on the fire, a good FREE fuel which kept folk with little cash; warm in the winter.

Every now and then they spontaneously combust... At 00:40 you see smoke begin to rise
